King in the mist reward ?

I did what xenofixus wrote, but I didn't get any Spirit reward in cruel.

Yeah, I having issues with King in the mists quest as well. Completed it 3 times, once following xenofixus’ suggestion but not working at all. The Skull+ icon on the map is still showing as not completed :(

This is me my friend and I are running a Duo and I looked at the map and I saw that I did not have a kill on a boss that gave a reward so we went back and killed the king in The mists and I was given nothing so I wrote it off I only just now realized as I was looking over a build video that somebody talked about that I was not given the 30 spirit I got the spirit gem but I cannot use anything with it

Also, no reward on cruel. Item did not drop

No reward on Cruel also. Perhaps it's related to using spirit Sceptre ang game suppose that i already done with getting spirit (i have 160 total because of sceptre).

He is not supposed to drop 30 spirit in cruel, only in normal.

Altho I did not get it in normal 😁

I'm having the same issue, anyone got a fix?

Did it more than once (normal) but it never dropped and Map Icon is only one showing as not done for act 1.

King of the Mist is not supposed to give you +30 perma spirit on cruel, only on NORMAL!

If you did not get +30 spirit in normal it's because you did not find the Altar and talked to Finn in Hunting Grounds zone before entering Freythorn

To resolve this do what xenofixus said and it will work 100%

1. Go back to the 'Hunting Grounds' zone and find and clear the Ritual Altar there. Click the portal that shows up next to it to spawn in Finn and then talk to him.

2. Once that has been done head back to Freythorn (new instance) and clear the first Ritual you find. Once more click the portal that shows up next to it to spawn in Finn and then talk to him.

3. Clear the final 2 rituals then head to the boss arena and clear that. Then head back to town and talk to Finn if he doesn't appear in the arena after the boss is dead.

ONCE AGAIN, CRUEL King of the Mist WILL NOT GIVE YOU +30 PERMA SPIRIT, IT'S NOT A BUG!
