King in the mist reward ?

I have killed the king in the mist several time and with two characters but I dont have the 30 spirit

I also killed the Mist King twice with the same character and no Spirit reward. Right now, I have many uncut spirits gems that I cannot use.

Also, the boss+ icon is still shining on the quest map. I had access that tree that allows me to spend tribute on both times after beating the boss but still no rewards that enable me to gain spirit.

my buddy has the same issue. he never did the quest and went back after being in act 3 to get it. after killing the king in the mist, nothing will drop for him and the dude that teleports in after killing him just says they need to follow the beast into the desert.

Same exact problem. I have gotten no reward.
PLEASE HELP!

Same bug for me on my Warrior. Retried twice. No drop to turn in.

getting same bug on my ranger today

I did this quest with 3 different characters and none of the got the +30 spirit.

Just completed this quest on my Ranger on Cruel difficulty and didn't get the spirit reward. I got the reward for normal difficulty just fine.

Same here, new to PoE in general, and after a few research when i started to loot spirit gems, i realized that i killed this Boss but never got anything from it.

I remember being able to pick some rewards from the totem itself based on the fight's currency, but i never got the item that gives the permanent 30 spirit reward.

Please fix this GGG.

I had this happen to me and found a fix for it (and the likely cause). The issue seems to be that clearing the ritual in the 'Hunting Grounds' is a hidden requirement for this quest to progress but it is pretty easy to miss.

1. Go back to the 'Hunting Grounds' zone and find and clear the Ritual Altar there. Click the portal that shows up next to it to spawn in Finn and then talk to him.

2. Once that has been done head back to Freythorn (new instance) and clear the first Ritual you find. Once more click the portal that shows up next to it to spawn in Finn and then talk to him.

3. Clear the final 2 rituals then head to the boss arena and clear that. Then head back to town and talk to Finn if he doesn't appear in the arena after the boss is dead.
