So, I made the switch to Kitoko's from Three Dragons and am now at 2,8k ES, 3,6k Mana (EB+MoM+CI), 7,2k Spark tooltip DPS. However, two of my res dropped to 69 (nice). How severe is that in general? Furthermore, with Three Dragon's I had ~1k Spark tooltip DPS more. Therefore, I am a bit undecided if the switch already made sense. I'd think the ability to shock would mitigate the drop in DPS, right?
I ran some lower test maps yesterday (tier 7) and have been able to electrocute quickly though.
Additionally, I am still at two ascendancies, so no shaper of storms. Is it a must-have for Kitoko's or fine without it?
I’ve been running Kitiko’s for a long time, not even sure I had my second ascendancy yet. I’m at 3 now and still running it.

The guide on the first page is totally abandoned and outdated, it's a shame. He goes on to say that the Everlasting Gaze is expensive when you can pull one today for 30 ex. There is no talk of unique objects that really enhance the build in the endgame or the improvements that we were discovering page after page in this thread, a pity not to have everything well summarized in the OP.

Yes I feel so confused cos even the asc points in first page and then the poedb trees don't match. Is kitikos or three dragons supposed to be the better option? I'm running three dragons now with the shaper of storms. The frost variant was working ok too in grp play. I notice I have so many questions the main page doesn't answer

Hey mate,
I'm currently overseas on holiday, so haven't been able to play or really update the guide. I did a quick scan of the forums to see what people have discovered and some of the new economy changes, and updated the shock sections of the guide so the skill tree/ascendancy/gear/gems (now with added jewels section!) should be up to date. I haven't played the freeze version for a long time, but I've left it in, in case anyone wants to use it for their own guide.
Let me know if there's anything I've missed and needs adding and I'll put it in when I got a free evening.

Thanks for the Update! One question though: Does the switch from Orb of Storms to Elemental Storm require crit chance on gear or is the one crit node sufficient?

How do you even search for the "Against the Darkness" jewel with the mana option on the trade site, it doesnt seem to have an option to filter them by those passive gains

nope, you can do it without any crit nodes and it functions very reliably. More crit is always helpful, though.

Going with only 50% piercing shot to put another support to spark is very crazy? While I'm getting more chance of pierce in the jewels I'm going to go with it at 50%.
Its mandatory 100%?
