Witch Minions, totally unplayable

Was a pain in the ass until I got raging spirit "aura". Since that moment + getting the doggo from the ascent, it feels cool and I actually enjoy the game. But until lvl 30/35, I was thinking of quiting every minute.

So im "playing" this build, taking any minions node, right now im at lvl 18, but its absolutely unplayable, minions doesnt do damage, doesnt get aggro, they die constantly, and when they die, you die, because you have no other option than run.

I understand that im doing bad choices with the build, maybe i should not get that nodes, maybe i should get another supp gems, maybe i should focus on get that gear and that playstyle.

Clearing areas its nonsense, tons of time wasted.

I really like the game, and i want to like it like i did with POE 1, but its getting harder every hour.

Right now im doing a pause, hope it clears my pov.



It's SRS, which is not in the occult tree, or nothing. Skeletons are worthless no matter what you do and zombies don't work on bosses until after level 50 when you can spawn corpses or something.
Yeah I switched to poison / chaos build mid act 2 because minions were bad, and I used the basic ones as meat blockers, and archers to boost some poison damage. I was overhyped for specters, which isn't in EA.
What is this thread lmao Witch is by far the easiest to play so far. In fact I think it's too easy, exactly as I expected. You still need to actually use command skills and combine skill effects between them if you want to be effective of course.

I literally have no idea what i'm really doing with Witch/Minions and I'm on Cruel 1 running through pretty easy still.


I can't imagine what it'd look like once I actually figure out the game/gearing.

Minions is very easy to play stop complaining.
I just started a witch with minions yesterday and it was way too hard to get to lvl22 trial of strength,now im stuck with it so starting a ranger instead.

It's from a spirit gem. You don't get many of those true, but I got a second one in act 2. The first one I'd used on passively applying withering stacks around me.
Infernalist hound + skeleton archers (poison booboom)
Get fireball + raging spirit aura
Infernalist hound needs minion life ofc, take some
You need 22-31 lvl to become gut

Until 20-30 lvl probably it is better to use chaos dmg spells as main dmg and minions only for tanking, dont repeat my mistakes.
I played Minions from the start and it works for me but...

Atleast at the Moment any Minion Build that dos not have SRS seems totaly not viable and if you use SRS you should kinda scale fire dmg.
I found no Desecrate so far so trying to Scale Zombies or Unearth is out of the Window.


I tryed to make Frost Mages work on my Chrono and it didnt work out at all, without the SRS it wouldnt even be playable.

Now i run with a fire fokus and its seems strong.

Abit frustrating with all the cool Minions and they all dont seem to work very well, but i guess thats EA for you.
