Fps issues with prety good specs.

I have a razer laptop with 16 gb ram, RTX 3070 GPU and 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12800H 2.40 GHz

The game runs at 25 fps.. wich is unreasonable low.

I update windows, Nvidia Drivers, i experiment with every option in game and seems very minimum results like 10 fps up and down.

i uninstall the game and installing it again nothing.

Anyone can healp identify the issue because for sure with my specs i should play the game at 100 fps minimum..

i should add that the recomended settings Nvidia center gives me, if i aplly them i have 15 fps to the point the game crushes..

i am really frustrated

Sounds to me like you are either running in a lower power state on your laptop or using the Intel GPU and not the Nvidia one?

Also depends on what resolution you are running at. I think the game is quite CPU bound but I would expect more FPS than that from your laptop tbh

I have it plug in and also i went to graphic settings put the program to high performance.So i dont think its that.

Also ,in game settings i have it in nvidia one , though i change all the settings to see things, ass i told in the thread the changes is 10 fps when i do that so that counts out too.

Also i can say (as a reference of what my laptop runs) i play baldurs gate 3 in max settings smoothly.

i dont have onboard gpu so i dont even have the choise to have it there

You could try couple settings :

1- Use DLSS at balanced or performance setup

2- Try dynamic resolution

3- Drop the shadow quality, it use a lot of hardware and doesn't benefit enough to be a big deal.

4- Update your gfx card driver

5- Defragment your computer if you never did it

6- Check if your laptop is on power saving mode and if yes, switch to performance

That CPU 100% has a built in GPU, not that it's important though tbh.

Masterguilt, i have done all of those things..

Detonator , i cant see it anyware though, device manager, ingame settings, and ealswere in my laptop

You might try FSR or switch dx12 to Vulcan.

You should be able to play at decent FPS at 1080p for sure, not 4k tho.
