Can't enter map portals, disconnected with "an unexpected disconnection occured" error (PoE1)

Same with me. Maps worked fine first now... bugged.

Tried maps today for the first time. The very first map (activated while in a party) disconnects me and party member both each time after clicking any portal.
Had to override bugged map with the party member's other map, worked fine (launched in hideout).
I don't have a hideout, so tried to put in another map, but not in a party, worked fine, no bug. The next map after that activated NOT in a party resulted in the bug again, cannot enter it, always disconnect.

I'm having the same issue, lost 2/3 maps so far including the first rare I tried. I'm a noob just starting maps so that kind of stings, will probably hold off playing until this is fixed.

I had this just now.

What worked for me was using a friends map in a party from their hideout to complete the initial quest.

My hideout was bugged as was Karui.

So then I created a Guild, and a Guild Hideout, using that, it worked. Then going back to my Personal Hideout, it also worked.

Bizarre.

Oh and I also took loot filter off for the first attempt in Guild. Back on now and it seems OK.

Maybe this will help someone.

I had a similar problem => getting kick to log in screen when i tried to access any map.

Juste Follow these step:
-" Troubleshooting your Path of Exile client"
-" 2. Clear your client's cache " and delete all the content here.

Then follow the " 1. Verify your client's content " to be sure.

I wasn't able to load a map yesterday, and today it's working fine after the clear.

I can start a map ONLY when I start it from my own map device, if I use the guild hideout, it still kick me. At least I can play, but the problem still exist, sorry if I'd bait any one
