Bump.

I'm honestly losing any desire to play the game at this point.
I've progressed past this boss twice, but as I'm playing in HC, I can't get any other character past. My luck has been bad.

Sometimes I've taken the dagger straight on, and it just dragged me with no damage done to me whatsoever.

Just now I died, and the dagger hit and line it drags was so far from me it was ridiculous.

This is progression breaking for HC people, and a lot more damaging to those playing SSF who find items and lose them to this.

bump, still not fixed :(

1. Do not stand in the middle where he will slam his dagger down as the fight starts.
2. As soon as the fight starts, walk up to him and park yourself in his left armpit.
3. Target his hand.
4. He'll drag his left arm towards the center of the arena to try and knife after. You won't be collected in it because his arm will go right over your head.
5. The fire from the left hand may hit you. If you die to it you didn't have enough health/armor/ES.
6. When he knifes near the left hand with his right hand and drags it diagonally back toward himself, literally just walk into the left elbow to avoid it.
7. Kill the little bastards that spawn so they don't explode Cold AoE on you and one-shot you.
8. Progress knowing you beat a bugged encounter that won't stop you from progressing because you listened to me.

Bump, same shit just happened to my ssfhc lvl 60 char. I tested it several times on my lvl 84 char in sc and dagger always 1 shot at certain position. I'm so frustrated, how hard is it to disable 1 buggy attack until fix? Never been so disappointed with GGG but this one hit me hard.

There is a very good reason why Zalmaraths nickname is "little pinky".

This is his weak spot. Stay on his little pinky all the time, even when he
moves. Do this and you will not get killed.

Its written that its fixed in 0.1.0f patch notes. Maybe someone wants to try :D
