act 2 zalmarath issues
it looks like it wasn't even tested before it was added. this boss doesn't just need some tweaks, it needs a major rework. i think only the hand of the boss seems to have some hitbox. this fight is a painful experience and something feels off. it's especially obvious if you are using melee class.

I too am having this issue as a ranger.
Vine arrow and Toxic growth are having issues going where cast as if small invisible walls lurk as Zalmarath moves about the pinnacle. I was also experiencing the camera jumping in and back from the character during certain boss animations, i think when he shakes the cave ceiling. During this camera i loose sight of the fight and my character seconds as my camera seems centered underneath the floor. The above experience lasts about 2 or 3 seconds. I do believe i am able to move during this. |

Completely agree - this boss is totally bugged and impossible to target with projectiles. They either go right through him or randomly change directions and my character starts spinning around for some reason.

Currently trying to kill him with warrior. Very unclear hitbox, seems to only take damage on his free hand that he's constantly waving around making it difficult to hit with perfect strike. Occasionally rolling off or being pushed off the "arena".

Absolute cancer to play on mellee.
And this game breaking bug is fully reproducible with numerous videos and proof. Check the other zalmarath threads. His dagger scratch attack (right to left swipe) oneshots my 1k armour 1k hp warrior even when im far out of its range. Gggg any comment? | |

+1 to this being the most aggravating boss in the game for melee, hands down the WORST designed boss in the entire game. Fix the hit box and then it will be fine.
We shouldn't have to only have to attack the hand which is MOVING 90% of the fight out of reach. Meanwhile ranged has no issues with this one because the hitbox is always available usually. Please make this a priority, this is experience breaking for any melee classes in normal. |
