This patch has been deployed without restarting the servers. You will need to restart your client to receive the client changes in this patch. Does this address the whole Windows lockup that seems to happen when entering new areas or fast traveling? This is a HUGE issue for me and I have no idea why. These lockups require a complete PC shutdown or using the reset button.

I just updated to this patch. I log in to whichever server, I am able to get in. I can't move, and I get kicked out of the server after around 10 or 15 secs with message: "An unexpected disconnection ocurred".

" Hey this issue you are having and anyone else is not POE issue. Windows 11 update 24h2 is bricked. You will see those freezes and in other games. For that reason I reinstalled windows10. The previous windows 11 update 23h2 is ok, but there is no easy way to get it. After I installed win10 this issue is gone. " For me it looked like this happened 1 in 3 times when I started game and on loading screen mouse was slowing down, then complete freeze (this happend in poe1). When I waited for longer time pc just rebooted. I got that consistently. Nothing helped - only win10 fresh install. People also stay on win11 23h update (when you install a ubi launcher it will not even allow you to do update). Hope its not your case cause its super painfull to do fresh system. All the best!
