POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

This feels terrible, I just want to play the game but it keeps on crashing. Done all suggested solutions to no avail.

Decided to try and play the game again after getting those nasty PC freezes in December 2024.
They're still there, and PoE2 is quite literally the only game that does that to my computer because anything else I've played doesn't freeze my entire PC. I'm very disappointed to see that this issue still lingers after half a year since I first saw it being reported. |

Just wanted to let you guys know, Microsoft wrote back to my bug report, that the bug will be fixed with Windows 11 insider version >= 27785. As I always suspected, this issue was indeed a bug in the Windows 11 24h2 CPU scheduler. Here is the official answer by MS:
"[...] that the bug you have signaled has been correctly solved, and it was tied to an erroneous approximation of the cycle counter when the frequency of the CPU was going more than 4 GHz, which is the maximum amount representable with a UINT32. Windows Insider versions >= 27785 should solve the problem." Have a nice day. | |
" can u detail little more ur crash please? because lot of ppl have hard crash => then no chance to send a crash report or there is a technical tips i dont know :D all game like ff7 remake/ KDC2 / god of wars / even diablo ... don't crash i'm still like lot of gamers who fear about launching the game again and don't want break comp plz GGG don't close eyes about this problem u already retrieve it from ur bug list |

" thanks for the replies :) but just for OTHERS IT is a poe1 and poe2 problem i read all in this post, and there is no unique and stable way to have a safe poe some lagging/crashing/fps drop or need poeuncrasher on windows (every version) even linux personnaly i begin to have lot of crash 2 month before the EA on poe1 so its code optimization prob :) but GGG just add content and not optimizing code maybe a day? Months later, I came back to try and see if this is fixed, and nope the game freezes my whole PC as soon as I hit Log in...wow
