How to login with 2 user ids for couch co-op?

Can a GGG staff answer this with some details? How it works for pc? Is it enabled? What are the account restrictions, how/where the chars will be tied to?

You can couch coop on PC, you need 2 controllers connected and currently you can only use characters of one account.

We need more replies. Coop works fine. But is worthless in my eyes without dual accounts. My friends and I want to progress on our accounts not only one. Hope this will be implemented in the next few months. Amazing ea so far.

And the ability to let one play on keyboard pls xD

Yeah I'm also with you on this one, I mean it's fun to have the possibility to play couch co-op but unless you can play with dual accounts it's kinda of a bummer.

I'm really hoping they keep their word about letting you play couch co-op with 2 different accounts so you can keep up with the progress later when playing solo.

I play on Steam, idk if using the standalone client it lets you log into 2 accounts to play local multiplayer. Also, I do wish they let one player use keyboard (and the ability to swap inputs on the go like... in ANY OTHER GAME)

I'm posting here to confirm that you can play coop on PC. You just need to plug in a second controller and join *at the character selection screen*, not any time

You create a char in the account of the player one. If my girlfriend isn't playing with me I can choose her char and play as if it were mine. The stash is the same stash for both players.

Second reason I'm posting is to bump this one up, as it is very frustrating to use the same account. Sometimes we have the opportunity to play on separate screens, as it would be much more confortable to play, but she cant open her character in her account, as technically it's my character. If she's by herself she also can't play her char as it's tied to my account, and she has her own steam login

I understand that it's easier to do this way, but the second player loses all agency over his/her character. Can't play on their own, can't play on a separate screen, if she goes to her home she can't farm on her own, for example. And I'm not going to give her my Steam ID, because I don't want to randomly get booted from steam if she logs on

I really hope this is fixed before the first league. I really appreciate the feature, but it could be so much more.
