How to login with 2 user ids for couch co-op?

I and my mate both have our own accounts for early access.

But there's only one id/password input form in the login screen.

How to login as a 2nd user for the couch co-op?

You don't. If you have two seperate accounts you log in on two seperate computers/consoles and just play normal coop. the couch coop feature is for one account with two characters on one screen.

I hope they implement that in the future.

They did specifically state that this would be a feature, though. So the question was really whether or not it was available yet

Why then does it make 2nd player sign into their account on Xbox? When my son presses A to join it has him sign into his account just to play one of my characters. It's pointless unless both accounts have to pay for early access or it's broken. You can play Diablo 3 and Borderlands couch co-op with 4 separate accounts and all loot and progress is saved to each account. Even if only 1 of the accounts own the game. I have no problem purchasing early access for my son's account for this game but not if we can only play on 1 account

I would like to know this as well. I am on PC and me and my friend both bought tue game, but can't find the option to login the 2nd account. Have you had any luck?

Bumping this again as it's still not available. Would very much appreciate being able to play on my own PlayStation Account.
I would like to be able to play on my account with my character when my partner is not around, instead of having to play my character on their PlayStation account. If this is a limitation of not having the game on both accounts I would appreciate knowing

They stated in the couch co-op video that you CAN log into two accounts, but it is seemingly missing currently (on PS5) when I have tried. I haven't tried Xbox or PC Coop yet.

Any official answer to this?

on pc you need a second computer to play coop.
