Auto-select gateway defaulting to the wrong region

I am playing from Australia, and it is auto-selecting "Hong Kong" DC. Hong Kong DC is currently not pingable/is unreachable in the list, so I assume it is putting inaccessible servers higher on the priority list than your region's gateway.

For what it is worth, I am in Canada and was also visually defaulted to Hong Kong (before the servers were up).

Same here (POE is launched via Epic Store)

It still happens for me (EU Germany) - It seems to sort no info about ping as ping=0.

Should default to Frankfurt for me, but it auto-selects Hong Kong. PC Standalone client. This could be potentially a big issue, so many people are not going to notice that since you moved it from below the login button in PoE1 steam to the upper right corner. Cheers! |

Same here. Autoselect Hong Kong. Im located in europe, germany. Poor sods that enter the que with the Hong Kong Gateway and realise once theyre logged in.

Same here, located in Brazil, should sent me to Sao Paulo servers (16ms), but it auto-selected Hong Kong

They are all defaulting to Hong Kong (probably so 10 cent can gather our info) but will likely select your closest gateway at launch.
