Networking mode in POE 2

networking_type=auto to
networking_type=predictive

What's strange here is that this doesn't help my situation at all, yet in POE1 when I turn on predictive mode it does wonders. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Hey, thanks for the info.

Just so happened that the ping from my gateway is good and didn't bother trying the config. From what I observed, EA's networking mode is either the hybrid that they talked about in one of their I think interview or lockstep. The only problem I am encountering lately is, my gateway is HongKong but my hideout is sometimes on Japan which I am having problems with since Singapore and Japan have bad lag spikes even now.

not helping at all.... and again its 17;00 and the shuttaring starter network graph MS going up to 1k 5k 12k.... this will stop at 23:00h now... and its every day this.

this is ridiculous I'm on 1gb internet, nothing is lagging outside of the game, ran speed tests, yet every now and then, the game just hits over 13second ping... (13000ms)



from 11ms to 13947ms is insane and its defo not an ISP issue...

Yes I'm experiencing the same thing. Quite annoying especially trying to do a Trial of Sekkhamas.

Where are you connecting from?

Sounds like the gateway to auto selecting SG / HK ?

Bump, this issue has been on going for as long as the game has been out for a fix would be brilliant. For my the spikes happen randomly ill be fine for hours then not so much. Did side by side ping test its not my side.... Really does just suck the fun out of the game that im all in on...

Bumping this again since it is still not fixed and my ping is also still spiking at a solid 60000ms every now and then while my actual ping is 16.
