Correct, in a way. DLSS uses a lower internal render resolution, which inherently lowers the GPU usage, but you can make use of this in reverse by using DLDSR (Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution) to render at a higher base resolution with AI, then use DLSS to upscale from that (it scales down and then up), which makes it so that DLSS can render beyond its usual internal render resolutions, which creates superior image detail.

Regardless of your preference better IQ with much more stability or performance without killing the IQ.

I just tried it and yes it upscaled my monitor resolution BUT, the next day today it would not let me click on Login, I could only mess will certain graphics features in Options. It finally let me change to the original monitor resolution and shut of DLSS and Saved. NOW it works ok. My mini-review....DLSS or Nvidia game optimization for me, is broken.

Must be on your end. I swapped in the new .dll file today, enabled preset k and it's working just fine.
