You'll be fine. There are some issues with Sony, but Xbox and PC share everything.

Dear GGG, please don't consider the following text sarcastic or passive-aggressive. I'll just state my dismay in the most positive terms I can muster.

There surely are better ways to announce a change in terms of use and require their acceptance than what you just did.

You basically presented all logged-in users returning to your website with a choice of having to agree to some long legal documents that you are changing a few days prior to a major release or getting logged out.

I know that an observation can be made that users generally don't read these (because it's a wall of text) and agree automatically and most probably already have when they created their accounts and many times since. But to rely on this practice is unbecoming of your company which has been very open and frank about stuff from the beginning.

You could have written up an article where you let us know what changes are being made and why. You could've also prepared a diffed version of the terms, like some banks do when they change their rules.

You are currently 100% owned by a Chinese company. I think that this in itself should make you want to be as open and clear about whatever changes you are making to Terms of Use and Privacy to avoid any potential worries from your users.

Please try to do better next time and good luck with PoE 2.
