I love POE but I can't play it. Please POE2...

I had same thoughts once, cuz Im old too.

And then I realised what this direction of thinking is the breath of death approaching. Cognitive death of my.

And then I got horrified and stopped this kind of thinking

It's less time required than writing your post.

You are saying that you want death log. I don't want to. I don't wanna be treated like idiot who needs to have everything served on a plate.
That's one of the reason I am so hooked to this game.
On Probation Any%
LOL, talking like he's about to turn 100 or something.

What difference does it make knowing what killed you? Requesting for a combat log is one thing, but knowing who/what gave you the final blow doesn't tell you shit.

I went to maps.
I hit a mob, I instantly die.
I went to another map, I hit a mob, I instantly died.

You don't need some deathcam or whatever to understand what happened in this example. You didn't pay attention to the map modifiers and didn't notice they had either physical or elemental reflection, whatever your build can't handle.

Damn 35, I hope u ordered ur coffin already.

Jokes aside, I'm older than u and I can play PoE just fine, it's just a matter of effort.
It's perfectly fine if u don't want to put in the work it takes to keep up to date, but I don't think the game will cater to such players in the near future.

The discussion about Deathlogs is valid, but probably not going to happen in the next few years aswell. Jonathan said that he's interested in finding a way to implement a deathlog sometime, but it's alot of work and well... he's got a game to ship right now.

So don't expect either of those things from poe2, it will be just like poe.

I cannot understand why people cannot put in effort to understand X or Y
It won't take you even days, just 30-60min

Under 40 years is never considered old, only if you're living in like 1495

Everyone has time to drink, walk, watch some series or a movie, but no time to learn the game that you play?

Is it just a lifestyle?

I can relate to the sentiment a bit. Between running a business and raising five kids, times hard to come by.
That all said, from what I've seen of PoE2 they've fixed a lot of issues.
I tried POE1 a few days ago with a witch. I died before I ever got off the beach and to the first little hub. lol

In my defense, I'm 56, have had two strokes, have arthritis, and am not too bright.
I feel you. I hope Poe is fixed with Poe 2. So far it’s looking pretty but so did Diablo.
I'm 50, so 35 seems pretty young.

You can avoid many of your problems by creating characters in Standard league instead of the Seasonal League... as more changes happen when a Seasonal League is squeezed into the Standard.

Also, the tree resets are going to be much more frequent in POE2 early access, becuase this is like an open-beta where things are going to change alot.

GGG was asked about a death recap, and they are not opposed to it, but it's harder than you think to do a good job at it, and they have lots to do.

You might like trying Last Epoch, because it's easier to grasp, doesn't reset things as often, and has a death recap. It's also heavily influenced by POE, so some of the things you learn will transfer over when you get everything you're going to get out of it.
