Congratulations on NOT being transparent, GGG. This would cost you nothing.

It's kind of just common sense though. It says "past" purchases. If they were going to count these supporter packs in those past purchases, then surely there would be a note on the 480 pack stating that you would get an extra key from it if you weren't already at 480 before buying the pack.

If you're a new player with zero purchases, of course you're going to want to know that the 480 pack gives you an additional key because you might want to give it to a friend. They can't assume you're going to read the FAQ. They would have definitely made that clear on the pack itself to avoid a ton of e-mails asking for refunds from friend groups who purchased an extra key by mistake.

I agree it could have been more clear but if you weren't sure you should have asked first.

This part's never changed as far as I know. If someone asked if I've spent $480, I'd assume it would be up to the point it was asked. They have a similar policy, where supporter pack upgrades require points to be purchased after their release. People just jump to conclusions.

Except that part is also applicable to future purchases. The "have spent" in a grammatical sense does not apply the way you think it does. If you'd spend $480 now, you'd still have spent it within the lifetime of the game, as that statement is applicable for as long as the game is playable. Whoever wrote that section messed up, simple as that.

Present perfect tense would apply up until to the moment it was asked/said, hence the time limit of EA packs' release which was the moment that post was made.

to give GGG some leeway, i believe that they FORGOT to word it that way.

this change will affect some players so they were like fuckit lets hope no one gets affected.

if you truly are unhappy with this change you could message GGG support and i m pretty sure they will allow a refund since its not too long ago

They have done the same situation and they are refusing to give the extra key. I wanted to get a friend into POE and let them try it but now I cant. This is actually not legal for them to do. I bought extra so I would meet the requirements. I even messaged them saying the FAQ said nothing about it having to be before the EA supporter packs were released. Then they changed it.

This is basically a scam and honestly so disgusted and disappointed that GGG have done this. I have always praised how they have conducted business always telling everyone what an amazing company they are because of how they look out for their player base.

Seems to me like I will no longer be saying these things. They actively are gaslighting us and telling us we are not eligible it is on the FAQ too bad. No you changed the FAQ after we bought it. You changed it because obviously this is a big issue and many people are complaining about it that the change had to be made.

What should happen is they should say whoops we made a mistake and honor what they said!

I was changed even a week after. I bought my pack 2-3 days later I messaged GGG telling them this was not stated in the FAQ a week after the post was made. (after looking it was stated that way for 15 days before the chance was made. They obviously have had a lot of complaints and instead of just doing the right thing they are screwing us all over.)
