General Discussion - Hoping for moderation on global chat for poe 2 - Forum

there is moderation on poe2. even a bit overzealous and not taking context into account. some guy got muted for explaining the lore pretty spot on. this lore is so grim that talking about it can get you muted in the same game lol the mods are going to have to be trained. it should be fine to talk about things that are presented in the game. if it's not something that can be talked about, maybe don't put it in the game... It is a game about killing, sacrificing people and dark themes. The game has a lot of gore, torture, decapitation, some nudity etc etc. I don't understand how a fairly innocent chat could be what makes you "pull your kids away from the game". Sheesh The most extreme topics are already moderated. Tell your kids to turn off global chat if it is too bad for you. You know you can click 1 button and never see the global chat again, right? God, what an absolute whiny fragile crybaby. And nobody cares about your stupid kids seeing some naughty stuff in chat, they shouldnt be playing this game anyways. I can actually tell you are an awful parent just from reading this one post. You can censor yourself. Don't censor me, I don't have a mandate to conform to your sensibilities. Leave the chat. Turn on obscenity features. One of the best parts of the game is saying whatever you like. Its pure entertainment sometimes.
