I got the key for PoE 2 from a friend, When should I expect the key for Steam version or will I have to install PoE 2 from the site?

How to redeem a key?
[...]
If you have purchased a key and/or have access granted for one PC game client (Stand-alone, Steam, or Epic), but wish to play on another game client, you will be able to do so by claiming a key to unlock access to that client. These are available at my-account/early-access and can be redeemed on the relevant platform's store. Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account.
As an example, if you purchase a Supporter Pack through the Path of Exile website, you will be able to claim a key to unlock the client in your Steam Library.
Please note that there is currently an issue with Steam Client Keys being delivered to players. If you do not see a client key available at this time, please check again in a few days.

If I purchase a pack eligible for a key through Steam and I don't receive a Steam Client Key, will I be able to access the game through the standalone client ?

Yeah i believe so but also atm they're having issues with giving out steam/epic client keys if you keep checking my account and looking at the Path of Exile 2 Early Access where it shows you have access to EA when they fix it your steam key should be there they keep saying give it a few days but if all else fails you should be able to use stand-alone

Hi Jacob,
let's say I have bought the liberator supporter pack.
Now I see 4 keys (2 x “Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key”, 2x “+1 Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key”, are they different?).
I was also able to claim a Steam key and there is an option to claim an epic key which is currently unavailable.
Did I understand correctly that I still need one of the Early Access Keys to participate in Early Access via Steam despite my Steam Key?
And if I give my other keys to friends, can they also somehow play via steam? For example, can they claim a steam key for themselves without a supporter pack and then use my key for early access? Or can he only participate via the official client?
Thanks in advance and sorry for any redundancy. Just want to be sure.
