My strong concern about all the Boss-fights in POE 2
My strong concern for almost all the main Boss-fights in POE 2 is:
Almost every main Boss will be in limited space, more ore less in a circular area and has multiple phases, depending on its actuall hitpoints. Every Boss-fight will be like this and so every boss fight will be the "same", meaning has the same limited-space-area philosophy. If thats true, is sounds a little boring to me. Do you share my concern, or are you so overhyped, that you cant see anything... regards Last edited by ArkonHC#4153 on Nov 28, 2024, 7:43:42 AM Last bumped on Dec 7, 2024, 10:26:26 PM

" From where you got that idea? The bell crow fight, the very FIRST boss fight they have shown us already slips out of that description... |
|
One slips out.. any more ?

Nope, while some have circular areas, others are more open and sometimes with elements like a crypt providing blockage/cover. They are not the same either, quite the opposite.

" Your wording basically discourages any discussion with "agree or be wrong". As for the actual answer: Plenty of showcases have been posted already. You'll notice quickly that a decent amount of bosses don't even have an arena while the ones with an arena are very different from each other and include environmental effects. |

No

So we - for example - dont have bosses which would follow us in a larger area - more then one screen, or even half a screen?
You enter a room, a restricted space... and the boss appears. Thats familiar and not new. Do we have something new, consindering the space in which we fight bosses. For me, it seems that the number of the limited space boss fights has increased compared to POE 1. |

So what.

" We know nothing about act 4-6 bosses basically. Also areas will be bigger for some of them when they are in maps. We also havent seen all bosses in acts 1-3. So i think you are going ahead of things. |

Concerns mostly go ahead. Thanks for your structured response. Of course we have to see it. But my thinking is/was, that there could be a stronger tendency to it. |
