I actually turn them off. Even did so in my recent Dragon Age Origins playthrough. I much prefer them being optional, because there's a use for them if you want to test something and compare numbers, but for visuals, I find them too distracting.

d3 provides damage numbers and additional options how you want these:
1. No damage numbers (if you don't like screen clutter for die-hard PoE players) 2. Full damage numbers (when you want to test your build in different scenarios) 3. No white hits (usually for zooming) 4. No white hits or crits (only orange numbers which is the maximum/high hit recently). Also, you can choose between full numbers (9,212,323,434) or short form (9B) But obviously PoE is better and more badasser than d3 because you don't get any damage numbers at all. You do your damage numbers in PoB ;) |
