Seamless game/inventory mouse and controller support in PoE2?

How is this not implemented yet? I don't mean to b*tch but jeeze, for those with disablities this is cruicial.

I feel you, i would have rather had this feature 1000x over than asynch trade, but i play ssf so im biased.

I have had a rotator cuff tear and a wrist injury back to back since november so controller is so much more comfortable to play but inventory management gets really annoying.

For fvcking real. They talked about adding it in way back when 0.1 launched and it still isn't here. It's not like dual-input is some game breaking feature to try and add in. MANY other games have it. Even though I'm on PC I started playing initially with a controller and it felt really good, but after about 5 hours of muddling around in inventory I gave up and just switched over to M&K.

It's sort of a non-issue for me as I won't switch back to a controller once they eventually add it, but there's still a ton of people that want the option and it's such an easy QoL win for them that I'm honestly dumbfounded that we don't have it yet.
Still not announced in patch notes of 0.4

Did they not promise this in 0.3? Then in 0.4? I need this, I have a disability :(
With how many things they need to fix in this game I imagine this is very low on their priorities.

They will need to fundamentally update the entire UI system that they borrowed from POE1 which is no small task. And there aren't that many people that use both mouse and controller. It would be a game-changing update but for a very niche group of people.

I'm not disabled but I refuse to play the game until they make this change which is why I don't plan on playing again anytime soon. Which is probably for the best.
It's kind of sad that 3 dollar indie games are dropping with this functionality and GGG still can't figure out how to patch it into their frankenstien copy paste job that is POE 2.
They must implement seamless switch in the game, just like they do in the character menu. Not sure what the problem could be since they already doing it in some way.
