POE2 Crossplay PS5 - PC

I am a PC gamer, but looking at the new couch co-op system I am considering borrowing my brother's PS5 to play the game with my wife. I played the game for a few years now, so I managed to buy all the stash tabs, a few quads, and upgraded all my normal tabs to premium.

Looking at the thread about the account system changes left me with some questions. Maybe you Exiles know the answers.

If I were to create an account on the PS5, will I be able to link it to my Steam account? If yes, will I be able to access at least the tabs part of the microtransactions?

I kinda need help deciding what is the best course of action I should pursue.
Go on with the idea of borrowing my brother's PS5, or ditch it, buy some controllers and move the PC under the tv in the living room (my wife would hate this.)

So, what do you guys think?

I have similar problems and I am waiting for an explanation of where and how to buy access so that I can play on ps5 but have all the things that I bought on pc for poe1

MTX bought on PC will not be useable on PS5 and vice versa, including early access keys it seems

I'm going down the route of sacking off my PS5 completely and replacing it with another PC, and resigning myself to losing all the MTX I bought on playstation.

At least this way I can "crossplay" PoE1 as well, and not have to pay for PS plus any more

but how does this relate to crossplay and cross progression in poe2?

There’s no way to link your pc account to PSN. There’s no cross progression. We’re getting screwed.

Unfortunately, any purchases made on PlayStation platforms cannot be used on other platforms, and purchases made on other platforms cannot be used on PlayStation platforms. Note that these purchases can still be on the same sub-account, but the microtransactions will be marked as unavailable when viewing them in your stash.

Only with regard to MTX, if you play without MTX the experience will be the same. If you want to play with MTX, you have to buy it twice (and probably switch via the cosmetics tab every time you play)

With regard to stash tabs, you'll still have to buy them twice and hope they're not treated as different tabs in game

will pc support a pad? playing pc on tv with a pad seems the only reasonable solution at the moment... or buy stash tabow for ps5 and forget about mx from pc...

Yes, I play with a PS5 controller on PC and the experience is functionally identical to playing it on a PS5, including not being able to use mouse and keyboard unless you log out and switch inputs, something I very much hope is going to get fixed for PoE2 as stash management is a total PITA with controller

I do remember the devs saying it will let you continue your save from one spot to the next. I can't find the article it was posted in anymore so it may have changed. That would be nice to be able to do but it's understandable if it can't happen.
