i think you 2 youve probably argued enough now. its ok guys. yes everyone whos been hard on chris has been too hard on chris, ive been hard on the devs before, sometimes rightly and fair for a player and sometimes too hard on them for which ive even apologised before. its ok to be upset at a change that massively impacts you and to post about it, and yes that can go to far.
youre both ok and what ur both saying is ok but youre just gonna keeping polarising each other if you keep arguing. its fine, chris loves you both and so do we all. :) |

" afaik chris has been doing non gamedev stuff like PR for about half the games life. real hardcore poe dorks will remember chris going on podcasts like the one ziggy, zeno and phox used to do way back in the day, even then chris would be a bit removed from the actual loop of what the nitty gritty gameplay development changes were. he would have to go ask the team for answers to certain things and have stuff they had told him that he was informing the community of etc. how long ago was that? i think it was about 8 years ago. the whole chris vision thing doesnt exist. at the point people started saying that chris had already not been that guy for 6+ years. its the vision of chris yes, and johnathan and mark and rory and rishi and all the team back there having conversations. but its not chris running the gamedev show. chris comes out and talks to us on podcasts and stuff so that his devs can get on with their job and when people start saying stuff like 'omg the chris vision omg' its his name they use, theyre pointing the hate at chris. he absorbs that for the team so that the other devs dont get personal trash thrown at them by the community. rory and qarl and mark and all sorts of people have been on podcasts before, but its probably not something they enjoy that much and the negative flak they get might really effect them. chris has a high toughness value, he runs the company, makes the big non game decisions and tanks a lot of hate and stress for the rest of them so that they can get on with actually making the gameplay designs and decisions. |

i stopped reading what you were both saying early on, i dont even know what you are talking about and i struggle to believe if i read it back exsea is justifying death threats.
when people argue like this they end up painting each other into extremes that i dont think really represent what either of them actually believe. |

" One of the most wholesome comments I've ever seen on a gaming forums where someone kindly calls to stop the arguing instead of eating some popcorn and watching drama unfold :) |

lol if all you got from what i said me justifying death threats then i apologize for my failure of communicating my ideas.
to put my views succinctly chris did an oopsie people got upset some went a step further and harrassed and issued death threats internet is full of different people some sane and some not. definitely there are gonna be some people who would do stupid shit like harrass and send death threats. is it bad? yes. do i support such actions? no i think the way i would say it is i m explaining rather than justifying. is it logical that deranged people would react in a deranged way? yes is it justified? no [Removed by Support]
