Yes. GGG made a post on October 1st talking about this.

What about character names? Will those also have the discriminator addded to it so we don't have to type some gibberish in the text box because all the names were already taken (especially now with crossplay in place)?

From the way they worded it sub accounts are essentially there own accounts, stuff isn't shared between them its just tying them all to a "master account." So if you don't have the hideout unlocked on the specific sub account you won't be able to use it at least is the way I read this.

Sony/Playstation strikes again i see... Although i could see it coming a mile away for playstation and mtx. GGG said that they would try as hard as they can but if Sony says no there is nothing they can do about it really, unless sony changes their minds down the road.

People have to remember that Sony decides everything on their platform and when it comes to mtx they do that on a case by case basis.

The games that have cross plattform mtx with playstation and pc took a long time to get there.
