Please look into Headhunter stolen mods

IIRC some mods have been removed from being able to be stolen by headhunter.

one notable mod is the mod that causes the enemy to run away. afaik i've never experienced stealing that mod.

i would say there are some other mods that need to be reworked or outright removed too.

the one major mod that i want REMOVED, is the ambush mod.

i clear a pack of monster. go to league objective, read the description POOF i m teleported to a mob. KILL the fucking mob. run back, read the desciption POOF teleported to another fucking mob. kill the fucking mob. run back a little TELEFUCKINGPORTED AGAIN MOTHERFUCKING SHIT.

how the fuck is this a fun player experience?

as annoying as that is the most fucking bullshit i've ever had with this fucking mod is clearing a pack of mods, running away from a huge overlapping cast on death explosion. i'm far enough out of the blast radius but NO

TELEPORTS TO A MOB THAT WALKED SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AREA GET FUCKING BLOWN UP.

FUCKING SHIT.

is this fucking player skill issue? or is this something GGG intends players to have? frustration. to just punish players by taking away the control of their character. i can deal with slows, even stuns or freezes or even petrify but i have NO counterplay against being teleported AGAINST MY WILL to a random spot.

of course theres an option. just wait for the mod to disappear or dont equip headhunter. ah right. headhunter's just there until i get a mageblood. silly me. i should have tempered my expectations and realized that i m MEANT to die randomly while i m wearing a HH.

besides that can we talk about the other monster skill effects? its really cool whenever we capture powerful mods such as "touched" mods or even the explody ball. but the big problem is WE DONT KNOW IS IT OURS OR THE ENEMIES. we lose the ability to differentiate. sometimes i actively avoid attacks/apparations that originate from my stolen mods. sometimes i dont avoid explody balls thinking its my own only to realize its not at the respawn selection screen.

holy hell.

dont get me wrong using a HH is so bloody fun, but at the same time due to these issues, it can leave me SOOOO FUCKING PISSED.

one thing i find interesting is i rarely ever see anyone complaining about these issues. have you guys just accepted this piss awful experience as the norm?

It's been in the game for 11 years yeah people just get use to it, or just re-equip the belt if it bothers you so much.
It's one of the few remaining movement speed + utility buffs HH provides after all the nerfs to the belt.

We do get to see some complaints about it every now and then but these players usually share an issue. Their characters are made out of paper.

It's basically similar to putting on a mageblood with unrolled flasks and some random double corrupted but terrible uniques. You need the right gear and knowledge to use these two belts correctly.

if its bad, we should get it changed rather than accepting bullshit interactions that adds ZERO value to the player experience.

the "knowledge" portion is that the belt has very shitty interactions that can get you killed and you have nothing you can do against it unless you have an immortal build.

for sure, you can look at a person with a paper build. but even tanky builds should not be able to survive being teleported into the middle of a huge number of overlapping delayed on death bombs that will blow up with no time to respond.

GGG did remove certain mods such as the fleeing mod. i've also never seen myself cast lightning mirage or the lightning spires. GGG definitely did do some tuning to the belt.

GGG needs to tune it more.

This one league, taking my HH off would leave me with 1 dex off from hitting what I would need stat-wise, so all my minions would die lol.

Yeah, just taking the belt off and putting it back on has always been my go to when I steal that mod.
I´m pretty sure these mods exist to "balance" HH since Chris said he will never allow a direct nerf to HH. But yeah the Assassin AN mod really sucks with it.

Shroud Walker exist since more than a decade and was just never really a problem.
So nah there's no need to adjust mods.

It's just something you get used to over time and once you actually build a proper character.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

there are many things that i disagree with you on but this is the first time that i can say with 100% certainty that this is 100% bullshit.

never really a problem?

nah man. having total control being taken away from you and having you pop up unexpectantly somewhere else in a fraction of a second with a fraction of a second to react to anything that is at your feet is a problem.

if you think thats not a problem i thank god you're not a game dev.

The knowledge aspect is to learn how to use the teleport and buff properly to get a severe clearspeed increase from it.

If this is too much for you, simply unequip the belt. It's not suited for your build's offensive scaling anyway.

HH doesn't teleport randomly. It's on a fixed timer and it teleports you to the closest monster.

youre not wrong but at the same time you're not acknowledging that it is a problem.

i find it weird that people just accept such a fucking bullshit mechanic rather than want to have it changed/removed.
