Does the extended league have the same buffs and nerfs? wouldve been nice to have one instead of just extending the league.

I absolutely despised the lantern ui, I hate the added friction, so thanks but no. I don't care how many divines you cram into a map, I'll play literally anything else.

I am a bit confused on hoiw this will work? Items and character will migrate to new league but I still have to make a new character? Is this is only for the mystery box?
Also will the economy remain the same in the even and in the league?

I don't hate it, but I'm not finding the concept particularly compelling either. It's potentially a good opportunity for me to try a build I didn't yet play this season and at least get it to the level for the free mtx. If I'm really enjoying the build then I might keep going, but I'll probably just go back to my other characters that are already levelled and keep playing those.
I'm really not keen on relevelling the town and the micro management that goes along with it.
I probably would have preferred that GG made 3.26.2 a void league and really crank things to 11. Give us massive increased quantity everywhere and lets cook those servers. Or give us another legacy league, exiles everywhere, invasion, etc. Like really make it an event! Give us 20 strongboxes in every area and map but make them mystery boxes. Could contain loot, could contain an Invasion boss, or Atziri. Make it FUN!

I have been looking forward so much to November 15th Early Access release of PoE 2 and was so disappointed when the announcment about the delay dropped. My heart absolutely sank when this announcment released. I am not sure why the lantern and a lvl 50 box is the only thing being added to Settlers 2.0. I think allot more people including myself might be really excited if any mixture of the following were true for this event:
-The gold drop were increased across the board
-The gold drops were enabled in other mechanics (Sanctum, Heist, etc)
-The gold pickup range were dramatically increased or automatic pickup for all
-The cost to reroll high quality recruits at Raulf were dramatically decreased
-The cost to hire and maintain workers in Kingsmarch were dramatically decreased
-The chances for wokers on ships an maps to be negatively affected were controllable by woker level or could be negated entirely.
-The production of crops in Kingsmarch were dramatically increased
-The costs for certain rune-crafting were dramatically decreased
-The chance for Power-Runes to drop were dramatically increased
-There were improved outcomes from recombination bench
-Increased chance for rarer outcomes by maprunners (rare cards, T0 unique, etc)
-Increased chance for rarer outcomes by ships (rare cards, T0 unique, etc)
-Increased chance to find the Nameless Seer in maps
-Increased chance for improved outcomes for items sold by the Nameless Seer
-Increased chance to find the Reflecting Mist in maps
-Increased chance to drop the itemized Reflecting Mist in maps
-100% chance to encounter the Wildwood in maps
-Add some type of Item Quantity Buff for maps since that has been dead
-Add Crucible
-Add TOTA
Etc...
Any mixture of these things would greatly incentivize people to rebuild Kingsmarch from the ground up, and have something awesome to chase for the next few months while we patiently wait for the next PoE1 league, and for the next month while we wait for PoE 2 Early Access release.
Please please please listen to your player base, we want to play the game and support it, but we are tired of Settlers in its current state. Adding a lantern and a level 50 reward box is not going to change that. Thank you for your consideration on these thoughts.

THIS!!!
You can't just add slightly increased currency drop chances by bringing back the mechanics from Necropolis and say it's an event for the next 4 months! This might work for some people initially while they wait until December, but EA Poe 2 won't be available to everyone!
Do everything right GGG, please add a little fun to the event so that people won’t be so upset about the league being postponed!
