Players cannot regenerate life, mana or energy shield

Given how easy/cheap it is to reroll a non-T17 map, I don't understand the problem?

Far as I can remember, you can't reroll corrupted maps. Well technically you can, but you'd have to sell 3 of the same map, which kinda sucks if they were all something you wanted to run and got corrupted with mods you can't run.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

Vendor recipe for corrupted is 5-1, not 3.

The corruption mechanic is built around there being a big upside/downside potential. You would lose a significant portion of the downside if there was no risk of the resulting mods being dangerous/unusable for you

There's a difference between an 8-mod corrupted map that rolls all -max res, mobs get bonus elemental damage, and you're cursed with elemental weakness/vulnerability/temporal chains, versus a reflect mod that would 1shot you unless you make drastic adjustments to your build, or -100% regen so even instant healing/mana has no effect. Surely we can both agree to this?

We can agree that those are different mods, and depending on your build, some of those may present more of a challenge than others.

But youre missing my point, and GGG's point I believe, which is that we want mods to present some challenges difficult enough to prevent you from just blindly running any map.

GGG gives us lots of tools to deal with this. You can as you say, change your build drastically, or you can choose to build the flexibility into your build so that the change is minor.

Example: Reflect immunity can be gained with just a flask suffix swap if using Mageblood. If not using it, you can do a ring + pantheon swap.

Alternatively, we have also been given a search function that allows you to easily locate all reflect mod maps in your tab and choose not to run them. GGG even gave us mappers this league to feed these maps to, so you dont have to deal with selling/vendor recipe/trashing them

Honestly the bonuses aren't noticeable enough in my opinion.

For me the reward needs to really pop. A bunch of frankly worthless scarabs for bricking my build.

Flat qaunt to items is boring unless it is a bonkers amount.

Honestly they should start having map mods give bosses specific lists rewards in the map. Like boss drops a tier 3 unique, or 3/5/10 div cards, or lucky drops and well rolled items.

There's a harvest craft for rerolling corrupt maps into another random corrupt map. Never checked if it works on a T17 though.
