I haven't started yet and I also want to know.

I think It's in mid december but I could be wrong

It went live Jul 26.
4 months is Nov 26, but they are launching PoE2 beta Nov 15th, which would be weird overlap. Current guess on Reddit is Dec 13th or Dec 20th. So you have two more months with current content. |

" no way they would start a league on dec 20 when a lot of employees are probably already on vacation. dec 13th is too close to poe2. ggg will want all eyes on poe2 and they can't have people divert their attention already 3 weeks after poe2 to some new league reveal. some time mid january makes the most sense to me. |

" Hmm, you could be right, I have no insider intel obviously. Latest a previous league started looks like Dec 9. Nov 15th is an early access release... does that mean a beta test which many people consider a throw away and you generally don't even keep characters? Or just the normal game but they admit yeah some bugs and not all content? Either way you're probably right. It will be interesting if PoE2 is a total letdown like Ruthless and no one plays it, but they let PoE1 sort of die off. (Im not wishing for GGGs demise, just sad to see them let a successful game not get much attention.) |

Every day that passes by when players are not playing the game, it means GGG is losing potential revenue. When players are not playing PoE they're also searching for another game, which could end up being their main game.
PoE has been a solid online RPG, but IMO never great as it was expected since it was made by once an indie company that benefited from generous support. Based on what I already know about PoE and PoE2 chances are 2025 may be the last year I'll be playing either, unless GGG improves the competitive aspect of the game, which by now I don't expect to. Given what's not been coming on the market around the last five years, and how more expensive it seems for a company to deliver a decent game (that's not single player), especially by a talented team and on the latest Unreal Engine or any other latest tech, well that's what GGG may need to stay relevant as it's been so far, lack of competition. |

" POE is easily the best ARPG and a GREAT game. They may have less players than the Blizzard title but POE is hugely successful on it's own. And it just released it's best and maybe most popular league ever. Also POE2 has clearly higher production values than Diablo IV in game so I am not really sure what you are on about. |

" Don't bother, he's just baiting. He's doing that for years now :) Sometimes he brings out some funny posts, but I think he's lacking lately. |

I wouldn't be surprised if they make a switch and push poe2 beta in january and run the league in mid november/ early december.
After all poe1 brings the money to the table. Second-class poe gamer
