Canary pet.

Why Canary ?

Because it is great, nice companion and you cannot buy it.

Any of the Kiwis of course, which I sadly came in too late for.

I can't ever play with a pet attached to my character. At some stage while playing I will think it's a monster and try and attack it in all the visual confusion of the rest of the game!

I have chicken and I must say that it doesn't do much, in fact she doesn't do anything. An animal should have a wide range of behaviors only then it gives joy, because otherwise, as you write, it can only distract. I have it in hideout instead. She should dig in the ground, pull out some worm and walk with it in her beak, etc. There is no this... Maybe there should be option that in fight it should vanish and apear only in hideout or Town, when stand...

Nice and as Rock it could not disturb, but as for me it could have more things

For spectre there are too many to say there is a definitive best but a personal best or favorite? Sure

Pale Virtue (basic melee) has a high engagement speed compared to most melee units and doesn't clutter your screen a great deal, great for party play on spectre tank builds.

Making each monster into a unique build has been a joy since i discovered the skill so many years ago, There may not be a game that allows such a customizable pet experience like this along-side so many other options.
