You should be able to assign it the same way you do with the other skills? It will have a similar looking but slightly different icon.

 Left click the button icon you wish to use for vaal skill to bring up a list of all skills that can be used in that slot that you currently have equipped. Left click the Vaal skill from the group of popped up skill options. It has a blood drop symbol in top/centre of its icon. Success. "The key to winning any fight is simply staying alive." My keys don't start - it's a bug.
Assign - when you go to play, they don't work. The key assignment system is confusing. If you have a key assigned, there is no logic --- there are no inscriptions. If you assign everything, you go to the game and nothing works. |

" You have many characters from different leagues, the latest one is Ancestor league, it was only a year ago, nothing has changed in the key settings since then. Is this really your account? We don't understand what you're talking about. If this is really some kind of bug, maybe screenshots or a video? |

I have not encountered this before. I assume you are talking about mapping the keys in the input tab on the options menu. I've never encounter and problems with it. Is your keyboard working with all other software?
If you are able to assign the skills to your skill bar, like in Warpainters image, but they are greyed out, their might be a few thing preventing them from being used: 1. Vall skill require souls, you cant use them without collecting the souls. 2. Anything you've linked that causes the skill to be triggered or automatic, will disable you from using it directly. 3. If you don't have enough mana or cost to pay the skill you won't be able to use it. 4. If you are in town skills are dissbled. 5. Assigning instant skills to left-click has been removed from the game recently. You can still put them on that slot, but they won't be useable. Probably some other ones as well. I'm not exactly understanding what you mean. If it is something more technical than this, you may need assistance from the technical support section of the forum. It sound like what you are saying is that you assigned the keys in the menu, but when you press them in game they are not doing the function you have assigned them to. I've not encountered this before. |
