Crash during loading

I am getting the same problem. SSD goes to 100% of uptime then my poe freezes, and my pc gets horribly lagged. It started 3 days ago, and i cannot fix it. And sadly ggg seems to not care about us, because only on poe i have this problem

If I was to speculate, I suspect it has to do with nvidia overlay that I can't turn off.

Why can't you ??
(Also, if you're using Steam, it has its own overlay that can sometimes cause issues in games, and that can be disabled.)

The disappointing thing is, there is nowhere to contact support other than posting something on the forums and hoping someone sees it. It would be good to have an issue notification process where anyone having this issue can have it worked through with visibility from the community. Currently, it's hard to know if anything is being done about this issue and there are other forum posts which have had this. Further to this, some of us only log in from time to time so to see a live update on the progress of the issue, rather than trawling through posts, would be beneficial rather than reposting on threads.

If GGG sets up an additional "Issues" system, but then doesn't use it either, that would hardly improve the situation.

Also, it's not so much about a forum issue in general, but rather the bare-bones one we have here.
Other forum software supports more advanced notifications
(this one does have a «Notify when quoted» option)
and subscriptions
(including more e-mail ones)
and a central «My Posts» page.
(You can also use this maybe more convenient link to see the threads you've posted in, in a specific sub-forum. (It's from a «View My Threads» button on bottom right.))

And of course when you receive messages you get notifications too.
(Not sure about when GGG posts in your thread / one you've participated in ??)

Same problem happening to me, also posted in another thread. I will add that clearing the cache allowed me to play the game for about an hour, before it started freezing again.

So, would clearing it every ~half an hour be a (hacky) solution ?

I wonder if that is also happening to me : I think that after a crash
(multiple times per day for me, but almost always in Kingsmarch, so it's a minor inconvenience)
the load times seem to be somewhat longer
(I'll have to pay attention to the Shader graph)
so maybe the game auto-clears cache for me after each crash ??

I am coming back to the game after years away. It took me several tries but I finally made a character. Now, I cannot even get past the gears in the intro. I hope this is something that will be cleared up soon, I was really looking forward to playing the game again.

I'm sorry, but it's also possible that your PC is just not powerful enough any more.
PoE1's performance kept worsening over the years (as its player base's PCs kept improving, and its graphics got more fancy) : for instance at release the minimum requirements were :

a Graphics Card with Pixel Shader 3.0 or higher, and a CPU that supports SSE2. At least 2GB of RAM is recommended, and older Integrated Graphics Cards will not run well.

I doubt you could even start PoE1 these days on a laptop from 2013 with 2 Go of RAM, even one with a dedicated GPU (with even less VRAM), and a 64-bit CPU.

(And it wouldn't be much of an issue either, if we could still run the old versions of PoE1...)

Hi, I'm a new POE player... I'm really hyped about POE2, so i started testing the original game last week. Everything was fine when suddenly I started getting stuck on the loading screen. Sometimes before even entering the game, sometimes between regions... I've already applied all the supposed fixes I found on the forums and YouTube and nothing helped. Yesterday it seemed like it had been resolved, so I was excited to buy a portal, but what was my surprise because I already tried to enter the game three times this morning and I couldn't. Is there an official solution?
