Player pets (the instrument playing goblins) - how can I mute them?

Right, I will just mute sounds when in town I guess. It is still less stressful than having to listen to those annoying pet sounds other players produce.

Shame I am forced to go to such measures when I am a Dominator supporter with thousands of dollars spent on supporting the game.

Mash the clean
Imagine loading up a character to the Lioneyes Watch.

You see beautiful loading screen you know and love.

The soundtrack starts, beautiful calm piano with subtle woman vocals.

You can hear the waves crashing on shores gently.

And then...

DUBADEBABADEDUBA DA DUBA BADA DU BU BA!!!!! x 3

There should be another MTX. band of Orcs. When they hear goblin music, they attack band, beat them and break their instruments.

They reset after changing location.

Orcs are just for that - beating goblins.

I agree, and they take the instruments from their fallen comrades and start playing their own tune.

you cant thats why they cost money
sounds are not very important.

this is primarily a visual game.

I cut all volumes to nothing, effects volumes to low.
and I listen to podcasts as I play.

I can just barely hear my attacks, and words spoken by bosses
and npcs.

I can barely hear "irrivocable doom" or whatever the eater says.
but thats good enough to know whats comming.

only top content requires you to hear well. the telegraphing
words of the bosses and uber bosses are important. that is all.

I barely notice the goblin troupe.

yes they are badly stupid, and offensive, and FFS I paid you money,
and YOU DO THIS TO ME?!?!? but.

I can barely hear them.

I'm only interested in what uber bosses say.... because it telegraphs
the attacks coming. the other boses i just wipe without even thinking.
pure autistic optimal clearout.

There are PLENTY of important audio clues in this game, currency drops, the sound of those stupid, purple crystals chasing you, the distinctive "puffs" of corpse explosions... I can't imagine playing PoE with NO sound.

That said, GGG used to care about sound. Just ask my poor, quiet Kiwi pets...
