[3.25] The Lazy Nova - Archmage MoM Crit Ice Nova of Frostbolts with Svalinn
I'm so dumb, I know what to use the 1 extra skill point for... bandit quest. I could fix my resist with Alira and free up a affix on my jewel
“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" It was the boss setting Andy. Fixed it, and made it more accurate, I didnt realize I had mine set to not a boss this whole time. Here is my current PoB https://pobb.in/R28MePa2sp_t “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" fantastic! Glad you found the issue! Here are some general comments on your config to help you set it up properly: *Please note that the POE community standard is to always set POB boss to Guardian/Pinnacle. This allows POB's to be accurately compared across the community. *Our build can not maintain maximum intensity charges. We always cycle through them and return to 0. As such we recommend setting "Number of Inspiration Charges" to 3. *You should add the following into your Custom Modifier window to give you a much more accurate look at your build. POB does not support the Haunted Weapon Enchant and does not accurately portray how Punishment works. Adding these to the Custom window in the Config panel will fix that. #Weapon 1 Enchantment Mods 35% Increased Movement Speed 35% Increased Cast Speed 35% Increased Damage #Weapon 2 Enchantment Mods 35% Increased Movement Speed 35% Increased Cast Speed 35% Increased Damage #Punishment averaged out for low life and non low life 60% Reduced Punishment Curse Effect * In the config window, enable "Is the enemy on consecrated ground" * You need to set the shock to a value in the config window else it will just assign a base amount. You should set this to 50 (the max) for your great gear. * In the Config window enable "Is the Enemy Unnerved" as you have the mod on your gloves and the enemy will always be Unnerved Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge#5265 on Nov 19, 2024, 8:41:21 PM

" this is the exact same POB you linked earlier. It does not contain any of the Config changes I recommended |

" weird, must not have copied correctly. https://pobb.in/7bT2VMBLX4L9 “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" ok that looks much better, here are a few more to clean up * Enable "Is enemy debilitated" via Punishment quality * Set number of Inspiration charges = 3 * Enable "Is enemy on low life" * You had mentioned that you were going to use a tree point for the Bandit Quest Alira. If/when you do this, change the Bandit Quest setting in the config to Alira This set up should now give you relatively accurate data when facing a pinnacle boss and after you have fully cursed said boss. |

Appreciate all the help. Setting Enemy to low life seems a bit unfair, punishment only takes effect half way thru. However, with intensity, I think 4 is more than fair if we are talking about bosses. Im just going to pop focus and stand still while nuking em til dead or phased, it hits 4 stacks basically instantly and stays there until you move. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

Intensify hits 4 stacks super fast even without a second wand for cast speed, its inspiration that you should lock at 3 stacks because on average you drop all the inspiration stackes every 6 to 8 casts depending on how much mana you have and whether its level 20 or 21 or 22 (chest with +1 socketed corrupt). with setting the enemy to low life and applying punishment its the reason why you are supposed to add a custom mod reducing the curse effect of punishment, as that gets you relatively close to the average damage across the enemies life time, you can instead do separate calcs for low life and above 50% enemies if you want but its the standard the rest of the thread has been using.

" Take a look at the item I had you copy into the Custom Modifier window about Punishment. It is put in place specifically because setting enemy to low life would be unfair without it. But with the custom modifier in place, it is very fair to enable low life. |
