Depending on how youre feeling about defenses, also consider going ailment immune. Mageblood makes this very easy, with the only requirement being the Stormshroud jewel and chance to avoid being shocked suffix roll on a flask.

Hey everyone!

I've recently switched from a Spell Suppression build to this one, and it's been feeling really good so far! I basically copied the Mageblood setup from the initial post of this thread and found a wand with the Haunted Spirits enchant for 80 div. The wand might not be the best out there, but since the enchant alone is worth about that much and I wanted to play around with it, I went ahead and bought it.

The biggest difference I've noticed between this and the Spell Suppression build is how dangerous Damage Over Time (DoT) effects are now. Things like Marked for Death, ground effects, and traps like Sawblades or Labyrinth Traps chip away at my Energy Shield a lot faster than in my previous build. I'm still fairly new (this is my second League), so I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, but I assume it has something to do with losing Spell Suppression Prevention and the benefits from Corrupted Soul with Glorious Vanity. Is there any way I could improve this aspect of the build? ^^"

Also, here's my PoB: https://pobb.in/_2Khtst3AXGL.

What about the Watcher's Eye? The one listed in the mageblood setup has Phasing while affected by Haste but I didn't see any Haste on the build so I though it was not relevant and just went with one with Zealotry Bonusses.

What would be the best direction to take from here? I've got around 300 divines to invest, and I really enjoy this character, so I'd love to keep improving it.

Lastly, is it possible to add a 4th utility flask? I really miss having a Quicksilver Flask.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
A better transition from ziggs variant, survivability definitely increased but, i still feel very weak. I'm unable to run juiced maps and some uber bosses. Juiced t16 red altars is killing me too.

I would love some help and advice on what I can improve on the build. I am almost 100 soon and have around ~50 divines to spend.

*Spell Suppression does not effect damage over time. You are correct that Corrupted Soul helps because you will have a larger ES pool to help mitigate DOT.

*I have looked through your build and I can't see any reason why DOT is killing you. Your leech should be WAY over sustaining your life and ES pools.

*Your watchers eye is very good. It is extremely rare and UBER expensive to find three mods for the same aura in a watchers eye, that is why you will almost always seen other auras listed in POB Watchers Eye. Just ignore those mods for the auras that are not used in a build.

* Yes, you can easily bring in a quicksilver flask in place of bottled faith. You can double your speed which will be incredible QOL and be safer for you to get out of what ever degen ground is giving you issues. To help replace the Bottled Faith, you should path south and pick up one more socket. In that socket you can add a Rational Doctrine jewel. This will help your crit chance and curse effects. Also, try to find some implicits that help you (the implicits are all random so you need to search around). If you can squeeze in at least 4 more Lightning Res some where (maybe get it on the large cluster small node), you can free up the two points into Faith and Steel to help you path down to the open socket.

* Since you are using Intensify support gem, change the Caster Mastery to "....+1 to Maximum Intensity" This will be a large DPS boost for you

* You can cap Attack block with one more tattoo

* You are at the point where you should swap to the large cluster set up. See the build guide in the first post for the details on how to swap.

* Get quality on Increased Critical Damage support

Since you have mentioned about spell suppression and mitigate DoT, I would like to share my version of this build: https://pobb.in/veeX6T9KD_K0

It has lower DPS than the other builds here, but it has 100% spell suppression, DoT reduction via Lethe Shade, ES recovery via Instinct, 90/90/90 ele resists. I personally feel it much tanky than the original build, and the damage output seems still good

Please ignore the "You can apply an additional Curse" mod on chest, I tried a non-anathema version but it lower the damage by a lot, so I'm still looking for a new armour,

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply! Your advice was super helpful. I switched my Stormshroud to a max roll one to cover the Lightning Resistance gap and made the suggested changes.

However, I noticed that the Rational Doctrine jewel mentions that Consecrated Ground applies when Strength is your highest attribute. I assume this is what we want to trigger now that we've dropped the Sulphur Flask (especially since my Watcher's Eye gives bonuses to Zealotry on Consecrated Ground). This wasn't my case as my Strength was 19 points lower than my Intelligence. I wasn’t sure how to optimize this, so I just used a couple of cheap tattoos to cover 2 Intelligence nodes, which allowed me to trigger the Consecrated Ground effect. Is there a better way to manage this? If not, what Tattos should I use to cover those 2 Intelligence nodes?

If that isn't the case and we just want to trigger the Profane Ground then does this make my Watcher's eye obsolete? ^^"

That said, adding the jewel and removing the flask seems to have significantly affected my PoB DPS calculation, so I’m not sure if I did something wrong. Any idea what might be causing this?

Here’s my updated PoB: https://pobb.in/094Ape-ukEiB.

Thanks a lot! Your build sounds very interesting, and I think I’ll work toward it as my end goal. The changes I made above were pretty simple and didn’t require much investment, but I really like the direction you're suggesting for long term improvements!

Their suggest did seem to have profane ground in mind, since they were referencing it as a source of crit chance.

If you make your str and intel equal, it will generate both.

If you are going to tattoo blue to achieve this, highly suggest going with reduced damage from critical strikes tattoo.

The POB DPS reading isa result of the config settings. With bottled faith, you likely have it set to enabled under items/skills, and under config, you have enemy is on conc ground. If you switch to the jewel, make sure the config is still set to has the enemy on conc or profane ground. That being said, bottled faith is a big dps flask, thats why people run it. You will almost certainly lose some DPS by removing it for a movement speed flask

For Rational Doctrine we want Profane Ground, not Consecrated Ground. Profane Ground is when Intelligence is the highest

Profane ground is a detrimental ground effect that applies 100% increased critical strike chance and 10% increased curse effect against enemies standing on the ground.

You can rethink the Aura/Watchers Eye. With Rational Doctrine you may find that Wrath is better for your build than Zealotry. You can experiment in POB to see what works best for you.
