Scrying maps removed all divination card drops

So I might have been able to pin down how this happens!

Possibly the way to reproduce this, try at your own risk:
When you find your first Nameless Seer, open the Scry Menu, choose a Map to Scry, but cancel the dialogue and not scry after all, this removes all commonly shared divination Cards from your droppool. From then onward only map specific Cards can drop, if you later Scry a Map, the transfer will work, but all other divination Cards will still not drop.

I am not sure if this will happen only on the first Nameless Seer encountered or if it happens on later ones aswell.

I cannot say how scouring will affect this, I have not personally tried, and it seems like there is a bug which also wont reset these cards correctly, but I have not personally scoured a Scry yet.

I have found more players on reddit which run into this problem, and helped me figure out how what might cause this.

I am very certain that many more players are affected by this but wont realise it, due to their filter settings, which would hide most commonly shared div cards drops, for not being high value enough.

Also Cards dropped by all mechanics still drop, so Diviner Strogboxes, drops from Altars, drops vom Beyond mobs and so on are unaffected.

People might go for a week or longer without noticing something is wrong. I talked to a friend today about this, she has the same problem, but only noticed, when I told her about my problem. She then checked one of her maps she had just run, without an active filter and found she also had no divination card drops. She claims her last Nameless Seer was days ago, but since her filter would only show high value drops, the absence of div card drops was not obvious for her. She continued checking for several maps and confirmed that indeed there were no div cards.

Please GGG give us some sort of feedback on this. Even a "We will look into this" would be great at this point, because I feel like I am slowly going insane after a week of this...

What happens if i have three maps scryed? underground sea->armoury, residence->toxic sewers and defiled->dunes

i have scoured scry before two times defiled->toxic and defiled->desert spring


for the testing sake im gonna add all high weighting cards to my filter and run some of those map to check if i drop em

lets take Defiled Cathedral as an example:
I find "The Blazing Fire" and "the dark Mage" in my drops, so I assume the four map specific Cards work fine. No Apohecary yet, but that is to be expected.

I scryed Underground Sea and was able to find "The Sephirot" on the map i scryed to, so this works as well.


I NEVER find any of the following as drops from Mobs no matter the map:
"A Sea of blue", "Loyalty", "Lucky Connections", "Rain of Chaos", "The Catalyst", "The Endurance", "The Inventor", "The Scholar", "The Wrath", "Three Faces in the Dark", "Three Voices", "Vinia's Token".
This is just a short list of Cards that I think should be able to drop on every map if I am correct. Also this is surely not all the drops from the pool shared between all maps, its just the once I remember easily being that most of them provide some form of currency and not some specific items.

I have not had one of these drop from a monster for over a week now. My filter works fine, if I use any of the above mentioned Cards from my stash and drop them into a map, they will show, if i open stacked decks they will show aswell.

If I use an Eater Altar, to add some form of Divination Card Drop to mobs, these cards will drop and will be shown. So the "Final Boss drops (2-4) additional Divination Cards which reward Basic Currency" can drop the above mentioned cards and they will show. Same for all other mechanics, which add divination Card drops to the Map like Beyond or Strongboxes.

So in short: Map specific Cards drop, Scryed Cards Drop, everything else is completely gone.

just a quick poedb search shows most if not all of those cards are map specific now. unless im missing something

they redid a ton of stuff with div cards this league, and seem to have added map restrictions to a ton of cards. but at the same time you can never be 100% sure with ggg nowadays so who knows.

Scryed Burial to Jungle Valley and in 150+ fully juiced runs I got exactly 0(!) natural Div card drops. All Divs came from expedition boxes or blue altars. That is actually insane and something is 100% broken.

edit: some of the maps were run with a basic lootfilter.

Another edit because I scoured my Scry and ran some Jungle Valleys: I got some "the one with all" and "the explorer" cards and now I did remember getting "the one with all" very rarely while the map was scryed. So "0 natural cards drops" is wrong but scrying still had a significant negative effect on div card droprates.

i scryed burial chamber to jungle valley, and now no natural cards drop, if i dont have exarch or eater of worlds on.
there will be no cards in over 50+ maps, not a single divination card.
then i scoured the scry, and still no maps will drop divination cards.

(its really killing the league for me)

Don't forget that div cards from the target will be overridden from div cards from the source. These can't drop anymore.
Seems working fine for me. Changed Residance on Glacier and all cards except Nimis are droping. Ofc not many of them.
