You realise that you picked a skill + an ascendancy notable that is in conflict with the skill you're playing... right? That's not on GGG, that's on you for not thinking ahead. The skill and ascendancy notable work exactly as advertised.
96% of players on the poe.ninja ladder for VSotM noticed this. Of the 4% who chose Occultist anyway only 2 did not opt into Profane Bloom. One of them solves lack of easy clear by using Bino's, the other just has gigachad gear. You can check this yourself.. There's a reason why most people go Pathfinder, and that reason is access to poison proliferation without having to use Bino's. Anyway, good luck on your new build. Make informed choices! " as a person who loves doing my own thing, POE allows players to do their own thing to a great degree. the summary of what many people responded is simply you're not synergizing. theres ways to make occultists work with viper strike YOU made the build, YOU need to figure it out. mamba strike very specifically mentions the restrictions and you simply have to work around the restrictions. personally i've tried making an ignite echo forge build. its not possible, ignite is fire damage and echo forge disables non chaos damage. theres many ways i can make chaos ignite, but ignite is inherently fire. slapping a darkflame ring can make enemies take ignite damage as chaos, but since i cant even ignite to begin with all is naught. would i prefer if theres a way for ignite to be converted to chaos? yes but currently there is non. i for sure can suggest and mention it in the forums as "it would be cool if ignite damage be converted to chaos" but bitching about how its not working the way "I" specifically want it to work is really going to draw flak. thus, i would sadly say this is a YOU issue. you need to work with the puzzle pieces given to you if you want to make an interesting build. TBH i honestly feel like your IDEA is interesting tho it doesnt synergize well. and actually doesnt synergize at all [Removed by Support]
