0.9.10e Patch Notes
What people need to realize before taking this CI nerf to seriously is that the current difficultly curve is not what the game is really going to be.
A 3rd act is right down the road so there will be 1/3 more to smooth out the curve. I am pretty sure its also been stated that there is a whole new end game balance coming too. Lets not forget its closed beta folks and that a lot of things are temp and placeholders. This could very well be drastically different once the next act comes down the line. So yeah take it with a grain of salt until we see how it really functions in end game. |

First, mods that reduce ES recovery time were nixed from non-uniques, now Chaos Inoculation is rather heavily nerfed. Not sure I like where this is going.

I think the CI nerf was barely adequate. CI is still generally superior to life stacking as a defensive measure, its just no longer so good that its worth going out of the way for on almost every build.
Speaking as a hardcore lvl62 ci caster shadow that regularly runs chaos, btw. " I second this. I think CI should make for an alternate build (along the lines of Acrobatics), not a build thats strictly superior to the alternatives. Wasnt that the original concept for keystone passives? No granite flask + grace = no immortality vs physical, which was/is the main issue. Itd be nice if there was a keystone similar to ci/acro in the str area as well. IGN: KoTao

Nice to see CI nerfed, it was OP, we already have seen enough videos that has 10K shield and clearing forests in seconds, it was much needed and got better now.
Other than this when you think to remove gem level bar indicators off from the screen ? They still annoy me while i play. Should we expect to see more varied AI that will struggle also ranged characters as much as they do to meleers, since current way mainly favors ranged characters' survivality more. Actually have given many examples how to improve that camp in my pm's. Still waiting a reply Chris.. "This is too good for you, very powerful ! I am sure the lack of response from a dev is probably caused by them working quite hard on up coming patches and getting the game up to snuff before OB.
