The Desecrate changes in combination have more or less killed the concept of community spectre banks.
Basic math:
A not uncommon zoo setup is to have 5 spectres. Given those numbers, you now have a 3% chance to hit a specific spectre you are looking for per desecrate.
In a Wraithlord setup, it gets worse as that 15% chance gets diluted more and more, down to 1.7% at the 9 spectre setup.
Now, if that was IT, it'd be painful, but fine. But now we also no longer have the ability to raise the spectre's of other players.
This means if a player is Spectre banking say, Spectral Leaders from T17 maps (rarely more than a 1 of), you'd have a, maximum, 5% chance per casting of that user to raise a Spectral Leader. If you were trying to share them, that's a substantial amount of time being wasted just to raise a single specific spectre.
Given that in even in prior leagues it could be irritating to raise a specific spectre in a spectre sharing setup, has there been any consideration to the extreme QOL nerf this entails for the summoning playstyle?
With the other changes to Desecrate in regards to Detonate Dead, are these other changes/QOL nerfs even required? Because it's legitimately pretty disheartening.
Im confused how you are reading it this way. The text listed on the gem in this post just seems to limit the corpse to 80 but not seeing why it will be impossible to summon the spectre you want. Are you saying that if your spectres die you won't be able to summon them again?
Whys is Kinetic Bolt of Fragmentation the only skill that dose not get Increases and Reductions to Spell Damage also apply to Attack Damage from this Skill at any % ?????????????????????? it's the only wand attack with out that mod and no one uses it anymore due to the fact you removed the old 250%. Drop it down to 150% or 200% so people use the skill or just delete it from the game.
This skill was fun to use up close and you had to risk it all, playing so close to mobs.

Great, as if it didn't cost too much mana already before, now we made it cost even MORE mana
Vortex still remains ruined because you have to stop before you can cast it whereas before you can cast it while moving.
We still for some reason don't have onslaught support back in the game and they made sure to remove quality granting attack speed & cast speed from both Onslaught and Culling strike support. Instead, we got Momentum which no one uses.
Summary:
Removed move speed from rage, Hateforge now still unobtainable but way worse.
Determination ruined
Grace ruined
(Don't worry guys, the new armor bases you get in the core game are supposed to make up for this even though Standard players will still have to deal with the same gem changes)
Hatred ruined
Increased duration ruined
Removed totems but then also ruined banners in the way that you have to place them so banners are the new totems but actually provide less dps and are overall less useful. (No one will place down banners, we play this game to zoom)
Removed item quantity thus giving even more of a reason to play Standard instead of leagues. The change makes sense in terms of having an auction house but the auction house is not definitively in the game yet.
Removed perfectly fine Raider class. Yay, more movement speed and attack speed nerfs.
We still for some reason have transfigured gems in the game even though the Heist alt gems were better in every aspect.
We still can't enchant our gear like we used to before and still can't enchant jewels like we used to with Harvest.
Tainted Armorer Scraps for some reason got lowered from providing 29% to now 20% armor.
We for some reason still can't play the new content in Standard and have to play leagues to experience it. (Won't play leagues, not starting over, and don't have time to)
We still can't zoom out more and the game still doesn't support 32:9
Currency exchange is a great addition if it actually stays in the game otherwise the rest of the patch notes are nerf central as usual with minor compensations disguised as "buffs".

Let us zoom out more. Bring back 32:9, Heist Alt Quality Gems, Gear Enchanting, Prophecy, Metamorph & Crucible. Stop removing content from the game. Stop nerfing everything. Stop making the game slow

Have you ever played cinematic games (on a console)? Press X within ~5 seconds or you will miss the moment and have to wait for the next opportunity. No auto-press.
