Looking at Defy Pain for SSFHC and asking myself why lol. When a totem is better than your ascendency you know it's bad.

But that's the fun of zerker in SSFHC. Just the fun of figuring out what is possible.

no serious exerted slam player ever cared about the player buffs from their warcries.


this league even more so as all the player buffs from warcries have been changed to be laughably bad.


0.5% crit chance from Battlemage?
5% extra fire damage from Infernal?
3% movement speed from intimidate?
5% more armor and 15% stun threshold from Seismic?


how can any slam build survive without these super OP buffs???


as far as mana reserve cost, just dont run Pride. . .what boss is going to last 4 seconds with 3-4 exerted slams anyways?

Really, I'm starting to wonder what the actual Sam Shatner Banana Manhell y'all are doing with your extra sockets. You hate warcries, you hate banners, you hate curses, you hate auras, you hate minions, you hate secondary melee skills, you hate supplementary skills of basically every sort.

Like...seriously. What the hecc are you putting in the rest of your sockets? You absolutely refuse to use any form of supporting skill, and you equally refuse to use multi-button builds that make use of multiple melee skills.

How are y'all using the sockets that aren't your core 6L?


Totems or totem like things and running some auros or having some minions that auto spawn or in either case follow you around are entirely two different things. Also, not everyone complains about everything - the chorus together complains about everything, but you dont have conversations with constructs, just people.

He hasn't figured out the two-handed maneuvers yet.
Having to spam warcries or now use multi-auto's and lose mana is ridiculous just to gain extra damage which is still only a 10th of what casters and ranged will do without having to spam the same buttons, waste the same points on their tree or suck down extra-extra mana.

Melee is harder to play + weaker to play + all the other stuff, it's rude as heck. Buffing the gem base damage then removing the totems is rude. Why don't GGG just remove it, everyone can see that's what they really want to do.

I have to say I'm not as impressed as I had hoped to be, most of the buffed damage is just covering losing totems, mana costs are prohibitive to where you'll either need leach or blood magic and the changes seem to favour slam due to exertion and block being made into spell suppression, as in you need to have it and its too easy to get.

Seems like being pigeon holed and forced, but then I'm not a good builder of builds so it'll be interesting to see whats up in a few days time

Stated it yesterday already. Many people will reroll their melee builds in no time when they don't plan to go the stacker route with their builds.

Melee remains weak, even with the changes.

And bleed will be the absolute bait of the league, played it last league with omega juiced gear already and the boss damage was atrocious.
