A pentagram would be one of the lighter things in this game truth be told.

It is only a satanic symbol if it is used in a context that has a concept of Satan.
In the PoEniverse, there is no mention of Satan, thus it cannot be a satanic symbol here.
Moreover, it only looks like that if you want to look it like that. It's five squares arranged on a circle with a sixth in the middle.

@op so you helping Sin along the story line is ok but you draw the line at six map slots in the map device?

Pentagram is a 5 pointing symbol. With one point up it is protective. With two points up it is "satanic" because it represents "matter over spirit" mindset.

Six pointed star is in fact Star of David.
