The Kaom's Heart Unique Body Armour no longer has 20-40% increased Fire Damage, and once again has +1000 to Maximum Life (previously +500). Existing versions of this item can be updated to the pre 1.0.0 version using a Divine Orb



See I knew I wasn't crazy for asking about the items changes in this post. Look at the Voltaxics then look at ^^ This is exactly the kinda weirdness I'm talking about!


Oh we definitely need answers now GGG. Do I have to make another post but separating the items now from the the answers part? Also, people are now up in arms about game crashes today; meanwhile there's STILL no explanation of what happened the other day.

Jury's still out on that one but ......Funny thing is, I had just gotten home earlier before patch notes came out and was checking the trade posts and in game; pm'd a guy about buying a legacy Kaom he posted for 400 div (which seemed like a nutso insane bargain deal vs 1 to 3 mirror right?). So I turned on global, and as I was moving the divines from stash to inventory to trade the guy who now appeared in the hideout; guys in global were talking about the change to Kaom's chest. Ofc that caught my eye and I nixed that, put the divs back and told the guy why. Global saved me 400 div though I did wonder how they knew lol

First of all we do get new base items along with the quality change.

Maybe it's the new level 1 gem values and we see an even further boom in power creep with the next league.

Best to wait and see what GGG is going to deliver us instead of making a big cry topic for no reason.
GGG knows better what's good for their game and it's good that they even do justified nerfs ever so often even if some inexperienced players get upset about changes.



Uh huh, full patch notes are out now. Care to revise your statement, faiths or belief in GGG? Not only was it heavily nerfed but there were other weird nerfs in many different places, ascendancy classes, gems, etc. So let's hear the justification for these nerfs.

lower end aka leveling progression was nerfed across the board for good obvious reasons while the late game received a thick buff across most skills in terms of damage and defensive layer also got buffed heavily with the quality change and new item bases.

You're welcome for the short tltr sum of the patch notes.

Uhhh no sirrrr, can't see what's obvious about leveling progression needing to be nerfed, when nearly every previous patch continuously buffs monster health and damage; while nerfing players. So leveling pretty much consist of being a glass cannon to kill before being killed.

This ^ is a MASSIVE nerf to EVERY build that uses cold dmg. Leveling or endgame this is certainly not a thick buff

Wrong, leveling was entirely out of touch with the never ending introduction and changes of player power. act 1 - t15 and even t16 pre juiced maps were a mere joke and not on par with the current power creep. Might still be even a joke even with the reduced player power in early game but they took a good approach with how limited their workforce for PoE1 currently is.
But if you think that leveling was only possible with as a "glass cannon" you clearly did something wrong or followed the meta build train too much.

"MASSIVE" is everything else but not this.
It would be a massive nerf if you lose suddenly like 90% of your damage which is not the case with the change. In low investment area you barely use any notable damage at all and it's only going to have a big impact on all the phys bow enjoyer. Not a big problem as they do gain fuck tons of power with the quality change alone and other changes that end up buffing the hell out of endgame lol.
All the added changes past t16 maps are only going to cause even more player power as previous leagues.

Lot's of crying for the big big buffs across the entire endgame board in exchange for early game nerfs which are only going to affect like 2-3 days at best during the campaign-t16 maps lol.

The only actual nerfs in this patch are on some unique items but they got gutted for obvious reasons.
