OK, but why this super awkward silence? I understand that the focus is PoE 2 together with its console launch too but saying nothing on the mobile game is very weird.

Because nothing kills interest and makes problems than regular "Yep, we're still working on it." You need someone who's paid to do basically just that job and that's a huge expense for basically no gain (either for GGG or the game being made) and almost always results in nothing but harmful backlash by highlighting the time games take to make (which I remind people constantly, 5 Years is a 'shorter' time frame for a modern era game to get made, YES even a small-scale mobile game. The wheels get off the rail for some reason (doing another MASSIVE project that drains resources, a change in game engine, etc) could add 1-2 more years on that pretty easy.

When they have something meaningful to talk about it (or have need to drum up interest for like a kickstarter type fund raiser to get past a finish line) is when you'd see them want to spend that energy talking.

this is the explanation given to melee improvement reveals.

ggg at many points have stated that they could nudge the numbers a little once in a while but all that doesnt give the impact they want for melee improvement.

their melee revamp is a good example where they made melee feel less clunky as they allowed animation cancelling (wont get stuck attacking the air if you killed the enemy with a multistrike attack).

their next melee revamp was actually within poe2 reveal.

the impact is huge.

vs +1 increased range, "this is a buff". are we supposed to cheer for that?

POE Mobile is the only reason I would be in the same car as my wife while she is driving.
I poop, therefore I am.

But that's just it, I am not sure they are still working on it, their priorities have shifted and I don't think they have the manpower to work at the same time on the console version and on the mobile version. It would have been great to have this communicated better, I still think there is a gap between how people expect them to communicate and how they actually choose to do it.
I'd like to know where they currently stand with it as well, but only for curiosity. I can't see myself playing poe outside my computer.
Rather not be one of those whose phone is glued to their hands.

As an ex game dev, havnig worked on many mobile games too I can tell you the market is really craving for PoE mobile.
