Lightning Minion Totems and Living (purple) Crystals

"
lol

If you are going to whine to the mods that my posts are too mean then I'm not even going to respond to you anymore.

Original post stands.

Whatever does that mean? Did you write personal attacks instead of addressing facts? Refer to this because I have nothing to do with that, that's all you lol.

And what point stands? Are you arguing that because it says "minion" in the modifier name, you should be able to kill the lightning totems before they cast the spell?

I am asking, because, again, your suggestion is obtuse and needs clarification. If my assumption is correct, refer back to my initial response:

"
Further, with your suggestion builds that have high DPS / AoE would simply ignore the mechanics completely which I am strongly against. The game already gives too much leeway to high DPS builds, we don't need more leniency in that direction.

Edit: @ARealLifeCaribbeanPirate you beat me to it. And I agree, some ESL misunderstanding has to be happening because I can't wrap my head around this kinda reaction

Have you never had to defend your ideas before? I am asking for clarification and you respond with insults. I don't think GGG will care much about this if you can't even explain it in plain English

Can never tell what is going on in someone's life behind the screen, but I wish you well, nonetheless!

So does a statement like "the sky is made of cheese" but that doesn't make it any less nonsensical. Using small words doesn't automatically make you right, and I'm really struggling to follow your logic with this entire thread. You're conflating monsters and monster mods and insisting that these two modifiers, uniquely amongst ALL rare monster affixes, should have targetable spell effects because you personally disagree with the wording. I pointed out in the "wall of text" you probably didn't read that this is how literally every single rare monster affix in the game works and it wouldn't make any sense for these two to be arbitrary exceptions to the rule.

That's why I asked if there was a language barrier, because I've had that happen before many times in this game. Path of Exile has a very international playerbase, and the majority of people playing this game don't speak English as their first language. Me automatically assuming you really do know how to read and comprehend English honestly seemed MORE insulting than the contrary, because it implies that you don't know the difference between adjectives and nouns.

I apologize for giving you the benefit of the doubt, I guess. I assure you no offense was meant.
I didn't say the sky is made of cheese.

I said Living Crystals and Minion Totems should take damage.

Thank you for the well wishes.

Original post is so simple and easy... It required no clarification.

Have a nice day!!!

I didn't say the sky is made of cheese.

I said Living Crystals and Minion Totems should take damage.

Reading is hard.

But WHY should they take damage, when no other rare monster affix effects take damage?

This is the thing I've now asked three times. I know reading is hard, but it's important to understand that this is how conversations happen. This is how we learn and grow.
OMG!!!!

LIVING.... is not dead. Should be Killed. Should they take damage? Yes!

Make a minion or a totem. Walk into monsters. Do they take damage?????

Yet monster minion totems do not. Should they? YES!

Barney simple for you. I cannot make this any clearer. If you still cannot understand, then it is because you don't want to.

Have a nice day.

TLDR: "I just want to nuke everything with my glass cannon build and don't put much effort into more cautious gameplay or character optimization!"
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

First of all, the "living crystals" on the Crystalline description refers to the rare monster shedding the crystals. Which I've pointed out already: you're still conflating monsters and their affixes by hyperfixating on specific words.

But I'm asking you, for the fourth time: why should these two affixes work differently from every other rare monster affix in the game? You have still made no effort to explain why you think these two mods should be exceptions to the way all other rare affixes work, which is something you really should be able to do if you're putting this much effort into advocating for change. Why, SPECIFICALLY, in pure gameplay mechanical terms, are these crystals something to target but the Brine King shadow on the -touched mod is not?
