Okay. I'll bite.

TLDR: Drops are fine if you have any idea what you're doing, and in all honesty the game is probably far too generous right now. Stop whining on the forums and go clear some content, you can buy a headhunter after farming white maps for an afternoon.

Way to miss the forest for the trees. The game should not be balanced around you picking everything up and selling it. Affliction proved this with it's extremely high retention rate 2 months in (as a percentage). The game feels better when more orbs drop and less hideout warrior balance is going on.

This design philosophy is exactly why PoE 2 is now PoE 2 and not an extension to this game. Because they can't get around that they have made the game feel like crap under all of these design decisions balanced around people using bots in their hideout to do dumb stuff like jewel crafting or old sextant rolling.

Quick reminder that the title of the topic is "Not finding any loot sucks", in case you need it.

Good to know, because I didn't? None of these maps even took me 5 minutes to run and loot.

I guess I was unclear: when I say "small stuff" I'm talking about chaos orbs, stacks of fusings, GCPs, etc; mid-tier currency not worth the time to list individually.

Edit: also because I definitely should have said this in my long-ass post but now I can't because I've sold most of the linked items: The character used for this is wearing zero item quantity or item rarity.

Man, what you showing me is actually totally ridiculous for me... If this is the way you play the game I feel kind of sorry for you. I said that people who just wants to log in and kill some stuff are not being rewarded by base drops in not juiced maps. I would say that it is safe to say that most of these people do not want to pick up 5c worth stuff and sell it. Neither would I. And I never did it and never will. At the beginning of the game I pick up some rares and identify just to see if it is better than what I have. But I would never waste my time selling such a stuff. This league I listed somewhere in acts couple jewels for 10c and few days ago I just destroyed them as I discovered they are still in my stash.

I was talking raw drops. Raw currency. Something which doesn't make game tedious and chores. Not picking up every damn thing lying on the ground.

I wanted to farm some veiled orbs now. Just to have them ready. 2 hours ago I just quit it as I am fed up with it. I ran around 15 catarinas and got 1 veiled orb. Anything else from her I do not even pick up. I was specced into betrayal + corpses + all increased effect of explicits mods. I used betrayal scarabs of intelligence and reinforcements plus cartography and cartography of corruption scarabs - I thought I will at least farm up some maps on the side. I think I ran around 50 maps - cemeteries - 8 mod corrupted as I don't run anything else. Speed running, but I still killed basically everything. And I didn't get anything else than few scarabs and few chaos and some not really valuable cards per map for 99% of those runs. At the end I got lucky drop of Einars memory of harvest beasts which I sold for 10 div so it was ok. But probably extremely unlikely and lucky.

I am using snoobae's insane-strict loot filter so I wouldn't even see what you picked up. I understand that guy who has no currency will have easier filter, but if I dropped anything of value I would see it. Basically I ran 8 mod corrupted not juiced maps and if I didn't get that one lucky drop I would have almost nothing at all.

I said that occasionally divine drop would make big difference for people who are not juicing. Let's say one in 30 - 40 maps. I am sorry, but what you showed I do not call drops or farming. And not many people would want to do this gameplay style. I appreciatte your effort in doing it though. Really nice from you to even try to prove a point. But looks like you might also use some pointers... :P
Using an ultra strict filter and claiming "I am not finding any loot" is some irony

I mean, YOU SAID "casual players."

So I ran completely unjuiced TIER FIVE maps to show that even the most casual Andy on the planet can reasonably expect to farm multiple divines per hour, on literally any jank build they made themselves. No chisels, no scarabs, no eldritch altars, I wasn't even using the league mechanic which is FREE juice.

OFC I'm not actually running tier 5 maps with no scarabs a month into the league, and I'm not gonna pick up 2c boots in a tier 17 map. I had hoped that was obvious. But we aren't talking about the kind of players who have to update their loot filters multiple times per league and who regularly ignore multi-divine trades, are we?

I am not sure what is not clear on something raw and valueable. Occasional divine. Or at least exalt. I would see those, do not worry. Or any other currency with value higher than 5c.

Yeah, ofc I was not expecting to be dropping currency left and right. But I would expect at least something which did not happen.

I probably run one map in about 2 mins even with betrayal done. Under 3 mins for sure. But if someone is not that fast and one map takes him about 5 mins, then it is 12 maps in an hour. 50 maps in about 4 hours. I think that it would be nice for casual players to drop some more valuable raw currency once in 4 hours of gameplay.

Yeah, but that is the point. You say people can farm few divines per hour and I say that people who do not really juice as they do not how and just wanna enjoy going through maps probably don't want to trade lots of stuff for few chaos.

Dude, you should make farm guides since you already have the pick up trash that will never sell and price check it all in a dump tab then claim big currency per hour. Where the reality is once you factor in trade time and 80+% of the stuff never selling then you get the real value of the strat. But luckily you invested in the juice before you posted and make bank off the FOMOs.

So again, missing the forset for the trees.
