What did they do with soul-eater?

now u know why its called Soul eater ;D literally eat ur soul.
now i see why i'm getting stuck fighting trash mobs that take longer to bring down than kosis in the deeper rounds of simulacrum.

this is so lame. get rid of this or fix it.

Not perma. They lose stacks over time, like players, instead having it forever like it was in the past.


No, they don't lose stacks at all. We had a single mob stay alive with 90% dr for well over a minute.

soul eater needs to be removed. things are immortal especially in delves where its harder to kite

Couldn't agree more, a stance I've had since it was added nearly a decade ago, I'm glad at least they recongize it's a problem and are doing ANYTHING to soften or change it.

Yeah, they take forever to kill. I've started just logging out whenever I get one in the Delve.

They feel like they were a million levels above everything else you're doing.

The Soul Eater buff has been reworked. There is now a maximum number of 45 souls that can be consumed, with each soul providing 5% increased Attack and Cast Speed. That's some serious bullshit. This means that every soul eater mob will have almost perma-90% damage reduction. There is zero way to mitigate this. It's really stupid to have an affix on a rare mob that makes it more tanky than pinnacle bosses.


you're aware of that you can just wait like 20 sec and then the buff is gone right? or play a stronger build
