POE Ruthless good prep for POE2?

The more I learn about POE2 the more I keep thinking POE Ruthless mode might be a good precursor trial while we wait for POE2's beta. Gold, scare resources, boss resets, etc...thoughts?

Every content creator whom was out there.

Alkaiser for one said It's NOTHING like Ruthless ZERO nothing like it it's not even comparable and mind you hes one of the melee gods within this game.

Interesting...sure seems like several ruthless mode concepts are part of POE2. And I'm not complaining I like more challenge. Guess we wont know until we play beta to end game as a community.

From what I've seen, PoE2 is not very similar to Ruthless. It may be less zoomy and a bit harder, so there's some slight similarity.
I don't think, however, that items will be that scarce, nor skill gems and their supports.
IMO, that's the most difficult part of Ruthless: getting all the skills you need AND their supports.
Gear will sort itself out, but without the skills and supports, it's hard to come by any gear.

If you've been paying any attention at all, you'd see ruthless and poe2 are nothing alike.

it seems like PoE 1 and PoE 2 totally different game. So, Whatever version of PoE 1 doesn't matter.

Anyone who says it's ruthless has never watched any of the current poe videos it's nothing close like it.

The only comparison is that both have gold that's it lmao

It's not like POE1 ruthless. It's worse, like ruthless + gauntlet x 100.
