When stars align Affliction feels good even great, not so much otherwise. *shrugs* Also League-related power creep and QoL features are nice. Whole Wildwood mechanic sucks, having to deal with stygian Spires sucks, having your map lag due to loot and monsters sucks, having to spend half an hour in the map sucks, having to go through so much loot sucks, prices of high-end items like 1p Voices or Original Sin sucks, etc. etc.

You shouldn't really be asking that question to someone who 40/40ied every previous league, heist included (my condolences).
Also I agree with most points and it will be really, really hard to come back from what happened in this league. They got too many mediocre players showered in loot, with most of them coming away from this thinking that it means, that they're now good at the game. You give children toys and then take them away... there will be wailing - hope you're prepared. | |

I am personally looking forward to normal League where HH/MB would be considered luxury item again and I would be able to afford things like 1 passive Voices without going full degenerate mode on best strats like people who could afford them this League did. I'm pretty curious about how the next league will be received, i've kinda followed from the periphery quite a few first time I did X this that and the other posts all league and basically shitloads of players that previously were lets say mid achievers (not designed as an offensive term guys) suddenly killed all the bosses with pbrand or have 7 magebloods and multiple mirrors.
Is that bad? Who knows. I avoided it personally because it spoils the game for me but this might be the only league the previous bunch mentioned get the most out of. I was gonna go for my 36-38 this league but i've kinda got distracted... I might get around to it still my chars still there as to on topic how did you find the king of the mists RNG? I personally got salty and bought it which annoyed me tbh |

Personally avoided / interacted with Affliction casually for most of the League. I find that when I need him for last Wildwood Ascendancy and I need him asap it's pretty annoying and I would rather buy him, but he has reasonable spawnrate otherwise. Fought him quite a few times. His labyrinth is annoying. I think he can only spawn in t16 maps (for Stronghold). I love Affliction boss-related challenges. <3 " Oh, I see. Still impressive for Ruthless. " The way Arandan worded it was not terribly nice, but it is accurate in terms of the blowback after leagues like this. The post 3.13 timeframe was miserable with people complaining about the removal of super easy-mode harvest. It was the right answer for the health of the game; but more importantly it was a permanent reminder that GGG needs to be very careful about adding things to the game even temporarily because the player base can't handle having it taken away in a reasonable manner.
