PoE 2 iiq removed and iir limited and instant buy-out trading
" As I mentioned, for different reasons, not for gameplay. I haven't played PoE for about 3 weeks anyway, and this is the first league in a while I'm not going for 38/40. I'm not planning to return unless 3.24 brings drastic changes to fix the game. LE is better than this in almost every aspect. I'm on the opposing side, I can't see a single reason to prefer PoE over PoE 2. I had the same idea as you before 3.23, but this league completely flipped my view towards GGG and the game. Bots and market manipulators will love it. Embracing trading even more is the wrong move in my opinion. The game is already balanced around trade. I guess in poe2 it will be even more of a trade sim rather than arpg. Its no better than the endless and pointless monster scaling in diablo.
Hopefully they make crafting easier too so that getting a 4+ t1 mods item isnt locked behind trading. Pretty much all my gear is bought now and I would be stupid not to trade with how much time it would take to even get anything worthwhile through playing. With easier trading it will probably be the exact opposite pf my wish though. Or make a semi ssf league with different balancing that lets me enjoy the actual game. Allows partying but no trade. |

" This is hilarious, you think all those games have better gameplay still here you are with all your support badges. Oh, but it's for "different reasons", right... |

I do enjoy the subtlety in GGG announcing PoE2 having little to no MF in the midst of the most MF intense league of all time.

" Yeah, LE is better. For 2 weeks. Then you seen evertyhing and you go back to PoE or other game. It looks good, but they need to work on making their "endgame loop" WAY more addicting. I heard they plan on making "leagues" as well. Lets hope they learned from Diablo 4 mistakes and they actually plna to put those leagues to core game later on, so after few years this game will have some content. " The problem with Diablo 3's AH's were: * One had you pay real money to the Seller for items, so most of the good loot was only on that AH. * Loot drops were balanced around the AH existing (instead of being balanced around making the game fun), resulting in exceptionally low drop rates of good loot. They "solved" this by removing both AH's and while they were at it they also arbitrarily severely restricted direct item trading between players for no reason. ----- Also on the topic of Magic Find and Increased Item Quantity, I'm fine with it existing in games... but am severely against it being a bonus for simply teaming up with other players and am completely against it being a bonus for both teaming up with other players and having to be in close proximity to the other players. Honestly removing/changing one item from the game would remove party MF (at least in current OP form). Why party MF is strong? Because you are able to have separate character that deals all the damage and separat char that have only MF gear and pretty much no DMG doing all the kills. Why are they able to do that? Southbound. That is real problem. Remove those gloves from the game and now you your MF char needs to have actual damage to do the killing, not just "last hitting".
